Oleanders growing outside her door

WHO: Angelica & open!
WHERE: Xavier Institute
WHEN: Backdated to Friday, anytime.
WARNINGS: N/A
SUMMARY: With the summer nearly over, it's time to prepare for school again, aka class registration! Likewise, you can always just stop in for a visit. c:
FORMAT: Quick!

[Angelica's summer has gone by in the blink of an eye, and considering she lives with the fastest mutant alive, that's really saying something. September is right around the corner and soon the halls of the Institute would be packed with new and returning students ready to learn. There may be fewer imPort students this year, but it's important to give each of them the opportunity for an education. Recruiting new teachers is just as important, especially now that their best pitchman, Hank, has gone home.

The show must gone on, however, and Angelica is back in her office, updating files and class schedules for the new year. It's a big task, but someone has to do it! Her office is now open for any incoming students or potential faculty who may have questions or need guidance for the coming school year.]

[So much mess. He carefully navigates his way towards her and then awkwardly looks for a chair before giving up and lowering himself to the ground.]

I know you're busy getting ready for the new term and with Doctor McCoy disappearing...

Um, does that happen often? Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I was just thinking it must be hard to keep people on if they can just vanish like that.

N-no! I wouldn't...I mean, no. No.

[He could understand the worry, but Dan wasn't a man to go back on his word and he doubted job opportunities for imports with few skills just fell from trees]

I just, well, I was sort of hoping to be able to talk to him. Teaching is so far out of my skill-set, I'd hate to get off on the wrong foot with the students.

[All? Teaching is a very big thing in Dan's opinion and he'd hate to leave the kids worse off than when they arrived!]

Oh? Hank left me a few books and such, and I've mainly caught myself up on what's new in the biological sciences, but it's the idea of sharing that information to others that has me stumped.
