This isn't creative...

WHO: Kiryu and this huge list of people (please tag yourselves if you post)
WHERE: Everywhere
WHEN: Weds. Jul. 15, maybe the next couple days too
WARNINGS: Uh, probably nothing
SUMMARY: Souvenir/present delivery!  maybe helping out, who knows, he probably won't.
FORMAT: whatever

Kiryu checked over the contents in his bag one more time before starting the engine and driving off.  He'd have to make a couple trips, since there was no way he could  carry everything with him on one run.  That was fine; it gave him more opportunity to check out the damage.

He supposed he should probably feel bad for almost ignoring what had happened here and going about his business.  Especially since his business involved handing out presents to people.  He could almost hear the Signer brat sniping in his ear now.

Well, too bad for her.  She could just hate him some more then.  He had friends to give presents to.

She was beginning to understand the feeling. Misao had yet to tell Bakura this--though she intended to--but she doubted Kyoto would feel very much like home. Even if she could go back there. Even if the Aoi-ya was there. That didn't mean it wouldn't be nice to visit.

But it wouldn't be going home. It was kind of a disheartening thought, so she shoved it away, thought about the difference between Kiryu's 2009 and today.

"I've heard people talk about being from other versions of the same worlds. Maybe yours isn't as much like this one as you thought?"

It was hard to imagine a Japan that was more advanced than the rest of the world. Western sciences were more advanced when it came to things like electricity and firearms. The thought of a Japan that had not only caught up but had surpassed the West made her happy--even if it wasn't sharing.

At his comment about Satellite, Misao nodded. She filed away his dislike of his hometown to remember in the future. It sounded like a topic not to mention again.

"Beautiful, really? But I thought it looked like the City now?" And it was hard to imagine anyplace that looked like the City being beautiful.

Misao nodded. That made sense. And it certainly would have been far prettier than this awful-looking City. The buildings all still looked like awful teeth to her.

"Oh, that does sound pretty--"

But her train of thought completely derailed at the sight of the camera and the picture of Yakushima. She reached out to touch the camera, staring at the photograph. She made a soft 'ooh' sound, staring wide-eyed.

"That's so beautiful! Where is that, is it in the Ryukyu somewhere?"
