The fluffy gray cat looked up at him and meowed. "Shoo, get the hell out of here," Jason pushed the kitten with his foot in the opposite direction. He had hoped that roughing the small thing up enough would encourage it to stay away from him. That wasn't really the case. The cat had managed to follow him all the way home and was conveniently sitting at the threshold of the apartment.

Rose peeked out of the bathroom, toothbrush in mouth, and squinted. The hell... She leaned back in to spit, rinse her mouth, and step out.

"Who'd you drag alon--"

She blinked. A cat. She looked at Jason, quirking her eyebrow and slowly pointing at it.
