pets aren't allowed. [COMPLETE]
WHO: Jason Todd, Rose Wilson
WHERE: The infamous apartment
WHEN: Dec 28th evening
WARNINGS: No animals were harmed in the creation of this log
SUMMARY: a stray kitten follows Jason home......
FORMAT: Quicklog
The fluffy gray cat looked up at him and meowed. "Shoo, get the hell out of here," Jason pushed the kitten with his foot in the opposite direction. He had hoped that roughing the small thing up enough would encourage it to stay away from him. That wasn't really the case. The cat had managed to follow him all the way home and was conveniently sitting at the threshold of the apartment.

"Who'd you drag alon--"
She blinked. A cat. She looked at Jason, quirking her eyebrow and slowly pointing at it.

"Just didn't take you for an animal-person," she remarked lightly.

"I'm not," he sighed, already aware of what was probably going to happen. "We're not keeping it."

She smirked and watched it pad over and rub its nose against Jason's pantleg. Rose elbowed him. "Now's your chance to show how much of a jerk you are."
no subject
"Stupid cat," he muttered as he caved in and petted the cat, somewhat roughly.

Her smile faded slightly. "Maybe it's parents dumped it off, too."

She gave him a nudge by leaning against him. "It's cold as hell tonight. Let it stay for the night or something."

He tensed slightly, having the cat stay for the night seemed harmless but it was also the same thing as keeping it indefinitely.
"Eh..."
no subject
"Come on," she pressed. "It's not like having it around would be the worst thing ever. It's like, obsessed with you or something. Might just come back on its own when you dump it again."

"Do what you want with it. I don't care."
no subject
"Of course you don't," he hissed under his breath. He picked up the cat and held it in front of him so that he could look at it face to face. "What the hell am I going to do with you?"

"I guess this means I have to go buy cat food now, huh?"

He placed the cat back down on the floor and stood up. "Well, if we're keeping the damn thing, it's gotta be litter trained, or hell, learn how to use the damn toilet."

The cat began to rub itself against Jason's leg while purring quite loudly. "The thing needs a name now too," he looked over at Rose.

"I dunno if it's a girl or a boy," she mused. "So call it Ash or something."
no subject
"I'll get whatever crap it needs tomorrow morning," he walked over to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator to pull out some cold cuts.
