WHO: Tim and Danny
WHERE: Titans Tower
WHEN: Late-ish Tuesday I think so I can squeeze Beetle-chan in beforehand
WARNINGS: A Bat-load of angst and description of injuries.
SUMMARY: Tim got stabbed and is trying to say he's fine! Danny is back to an adult and not buying that for a second! Somebody's getting mothered here.
FORMAT: Quick log
[Tim was tired and sore, worn out more emotionally than physically, and obviously Danny had picked up on it in his voice. He should have stuck with text replies like when he first posted, but talking was a lot easier - and less prone to morphine-induced typoes.
So Danny was coming over, and soon he'd get to know just what a Bat-fine was. Tim sighs and settles himself on the couch - he still has to lay face down, which isn't going to help him cushion the true extent of his injuries - more comfortably, and waits. Danny is programmed into the Tower security by now, so he won't have to wait for Tim to let him in.]

Can't you and Jason do anything without getting hurt?
[It's a bad joke, but hey. Isn't that his trademark?]
no subject
Ah - heh, I guess it must run in the family.
[Also a bad joke, and Tim smiles sheepishly afterwards.]
no subject
Tell me which one hurts the most.
no subject
[He gestures awkwardly at the appropriate spot, then flops back down. And yes, his kidney was pierced but he's still "fine", because any internal organ injuries that aren't life-threatening are totally okay.]
no subject
[He sighs in exasperation and awkwardly places his hands over the wound. Closing his eyes, he focuses his chi, pouring it into Tim. A faint, golden-orange glow surrounds him, a bit of it seeping into Tim's injury. A wave of healing chi.]
no subject
Mmn... well. I'm trained to keep going even with this sort of injury - though taking the proper time to heal is important. It's just one of those things that I don't want everyone else to think about when they know I'm not a metahuman hero, just a human.
no subject
Doesn't matter. You don't want injuries like this to get worse. Trust me.
no subject
I know. When I was at home, I kind of lost my spleen to some spider guy's sword. Lucky not to bleed out, really.
no subject
[He places his hand over that one next, pressing down softly to ensure that he's actually touching the opening.]
Was given hardly any time to heal. Made me appreciate my powers once I got out.
no subject
That sounds - horrible, honestly. What happened?
no subject
[He pauses, focuses some more on the actual healing, gathering his thoughts. Then, he continues.]
Basically, I was sent on a mission. Mission went bad. I completed it, anyway.
no subject
[Yeah, he remembers what happened with Troy, and the visuals. That looked... traumatic. It's a little difficult to be properly horrified with the chi making him feel better, and relaxed, but he manages it.]
Sorry. For bringing it up.
no subject
[Although the tightness with which he says it suggests otherwise. He finishes healing the wound and moves on to the next one closest to him.]
no subject
[He didn't mean to say all of that, and he takes in a deep breath, turning his head back to stare down at the pillow.]
And I'm interfering again, that's - a bad habit, I guess. You can ignore me.
no subject
Well. At least you're feeling better, it seems.
[A not very subtle attempt to change the subject.]
no subject
[Hmm. Short pause, and - well. He can ask, it can't be any more awkward than SO HOW WAS THAT HELL TORTURE.]
So. How are things with you and Jason?
no subject
[DOES NOT GET WHAT YOU ARE IMPLYING, TIM.]
no subject
[MAYBE HE SHOULD DROP THE IMPLICATIONS.
BUT WHO ARE WE KIDDING, IT'S TIM.
Innocently] So you haven't kissed him again?
no subject
Where did that come from!? --I mean! Ye--NO. No, we haven't... Why are you asking that?!
no subject
Familial concern. Your kiss did undo the spell on him, after all. Some people might call that encouragement.
no subject
How do you know about the kiss?
no subject
You just confirmed my suspicion.
no subject
I didn't confirm anything. Now shut up and lay still.
[And now he's trying to chi up his hands but it's not really working because now that kiss is on his mind. Which is so wrong, because he has Misty back home and he loves Misty and that kiss should not have felt that nice. Or tasted that nice. Or have been that nice in general...]
no subject
Until he notices the distinct lack of chi healing going on, at which point he looks back up at Danny.]
You know, if you need a moment, I'll be fine.
no subject
I was distracted by you talking.
