WHO: Archangel and Scathach
WHERE: Scathach's dojo
WHEN: Today. This afternoon sometime.
WARNINGS: N/A
SUMMARY: Warren pops by for a visit and Scatty's due for a feeding. Since he offered to help out with that a few weeks back, he stays true to his word and lets her eat him. His emotions, I mean.
FORMAT: Quickie
[Warren's out of the office today for errands and other such things, and stops by Scatty's dojo to say 'hi!' when he begins feeling extra restless about work. He's been non-stop the past few weeks, and feels the need to socialize or burn some energy. Something. So he ends up here, and looks around for her.]
Scathach? You here?

Scathach? You here?

And yet you seem to be relaxing some today. Everything okay?
no subject
I'm just feeling a bit... apathetic, is all. [Wry smile.] Not that I'm actually feeling it, mind you.
no subject
Not feeling it, huh? I don't suppose there's a reason for that?
[He gets the hint, but he doesn't want to outwardly assume.]
no subject
I haven't fed in a while. It's catching up with me, as I'm sure you noticed when you walked in the door. [Cocked eyebrow.]
no subject
no subject
I think I'll take you up on that.
no subject
Okay. Just tell me what you need me to do.
no subject
I'll need one of your hands.
no subject
That all?
no subject
More or less. [She presses her palm against his, and begins lining up their fingers. Glances up at him.] It isn't painful--just... unnatural. Sometimes conversation helps.
no subject
[He glances up from their hands and to her face instead, letting her do whatever she needs to do.]
A friend of mine that's here, Rogue, she's got a similar kind of power. Anytime she has skin to skin contact with someone, she gets their emotions. Except with her, it's their emotions, memories, and their powers.
[A pause; he's just talking to make this more comfortable, like she said.]
Her's hurts, though. I've seen it knock people unconscious and worse.
no subject
I don't think I've met her. How long has she been here?
[And she's starting; he might feel something like a little tug, starting somewhere inside him and slowly creeping towards his hand.]
no subject
Not long at all, actually. Maybe three weeks? She's a real doll and a good sparring partner, too; I think you'd like her.
[Yupp, still talking to cover up how freaking weird this feels.]
no subject
Maybe I'll contact her, then.
[Tilts her head at him, because she can, well, feel how awkward he feels. Distraction! Random topic choice.]
Tell me about your family, Warren. I don't believe I've ever heard anything about them.
no subject
Oh, I haven't had any family for a long time. Both my parents died when I was a teenager--they were murdered. To be honest, though, I wasn't really all that close with them. They sent me away to boarding school before I was even a teenager, so after that I only ever seen them when Xavier sent us home once or twice a year for visits. Even then it was usually quick and cut short.
no subject
I was never close with my parents, either. My father abandoned my family after my sister and I were born, and then my mother disowned me shortly after that. I don't talk to my mother much anymore, and I don't remember much about my father at all. My grandmother, Dora, raised me--she is the closest blood-family I have, now. [All of this is said very matter-of-fact, even though she doesn't open up like this very often.]
no subject
So what about your sister? Is she still around?
no subject
She is, somewhere. We have never gotten along very well--we are twins, and, well. Sibling rivalry would be putting it lightly. I do have an older brother, though--I'm not sure where he is either, but we're at least civil.
no subject
So are they all like you then? Immortal vampires with amazing abilities?
[It's most likely easier for him to relax during this since he's had so much experiences with invasive type powers in the past. Though he is feeling more tired as time goes on, he's trying to combat it more, given his physiology.]
no subject
Well, all of us in the Second Generation are... different somehow. Sort of like your mutants. [The next bit is said like something she's memorized.] Some of us were born as monsters, others were caught between shapes, a few possessed extraordinary powers of transformation and could become beasts at will. And others, like those of us who eventually formed the Clan Vampire, found that we were unable to feel.
no subject
Beasts at will? Like shapeshifters, yeah?
no subject
Yes. The humani call them werewolves, among other things. Though, the Torc clans can become more than just wolves.
no subject
My other powers work like that, kind of. Just shifting between this form and the other.
no subject
What form?
no subject
Horseman of Death: blue skin; talons; techno-organic metal wings...kind of freaky looking, really.
