WHO: Dazzler and Archangel
WHERE: Their apartment
WHEN: After Alison's meeting with Cain
WARNINGS: Mad face
SUMMARY: Ali talks to Warren about his chat with Juggernaut.
FORMAT: Paraish to start, then quicklog!
Alison flew on home after talking with Cain, feeling a little unsettled. To be honest, she was a little mad at Warren for what happened on the network, and she was going to talk to him. She understood that they had history, but Cain wasn't doing anything. He wasn't smashing anyone up, and he wasn't hurting anyone.
Why did Warren have to talk to him like that if Cain was just being peaceful?
She noticed Angel on the roof, brooding probably, so she floated forward. Setting down beside him, she folded her arms, and looked away. "Hello, Warren."

[He looks down at the metal knives and then back up at her face; since he'd been ported out, that little moment they'd shared with him in this body seems much longer ago than it really was in this timeline.
He agrees though, giving a tense nod.]
Be careful.

[She reaches forward, slowly sliding her fingers against his flechettes. She's careful and caring, trying to be tender with him.]
Do you...remember the zombies from Halloween?

[His eyes are following her hand like a cat watching a mouse.]
What do you feel?
[Her hands, he means. Do those wings scare her yet?]
no subject
[She smiles softly as she keeps trailing her fingers across them.]
I like it.
no subject
Those are new wings. You haven't touched those yet.
[Just stating a strange fact.]
no subject
But you can still feel my hand with these, right? It doesn't...hurt or anything...?

[She keeps touching them softly. Moving her fingers so very slowly against them, making sure to touch as much as she can.]
Do you like this? Or is it better with your other wings?
no subject
I like it.
[A beat]
Even if I try not to.
no subject
I like touching both.

[She lets her hand slide even slower.]
So I love them. They aren't warm, but they have protected me before.
no subject
They'll always protect you. I just can't say the same for everyone else.
no subject
Can I hug you?
[She only asks, so he can move his wings away.]
no subject
C'mere.
no subject
That's better.
no subject
I'm not sorry for what I said to him, but I'm sorry I upset you.
no subject
I know, sweetheart. I know.

Want to stay out here awhile, or are you ready to call it a night?
no subject
[She closes her eyes.]
We can even go flying, if you want.
no subject
Flying sounds nice.

[Maybe they can chase each other around, or try to race. Something to burn some energy.]
no subject
[She turns on her glow then.]
I need to absorb some sounds before we do, okay?
no subject
Is that enough?
