WHERE: Upper West Toys, where Bakura works
WHEN: between noon and one Wednesday afternoon
WARNINGS: gosh no
SUMMARY: Ness has a look at good lookin' toy shop and Bakura just happens to be there.
FORMAT: how bout some paragraphs? I like paragraphs.
Ness had been looking for a good toy shop to peruse since he had come to the City. Big stores didn't do it for him, mostly because of the sheer size, and the smaller shops he had seen just looked...dreary. It was nothing like Eagleland or anywhere else he had gone shopping in his own world, and he refused to settle for less.
He was pleasantly surprised, then, to pass a brightly colored toy shop on his daily walk. It had enough potential that, after staring for a moment, he smiled brightly and walked inside, pleased to see a healthy selection of all kinds of cool toys.

He smiled an nodded as he chatted with the parent as her child picked out a replacement, then authorized the return on the register before bidding the pair fair well.
Always nice when things like that went smoothly!

So he approached the counter, standing up extra straight to make up for his lack of height.
"Hi!"

The boy was a bit familiar... possibly an Import?

He may have just turned thirteen, but he definitely hadn't adopted the teenage mindset yet.

Bakura covered a small laugh at the sight. "Looks like someone had a bit of fun with these already!"

If only all the kids who came into the store were this polite!

"Do they all go together?" It was obvious there was a difference between the legos and other building toys, but the way they had been used together on the table made Ness wonder.

"Which one's your favorite?"

"D'you have anything that's better for building...you know, models?"

He headed to a side door labeled "Game Room B", pulling out his keys and unlocking it before flicking the lights on and holding the door open for Ness.
Inside was a rather large and detailed TRPG board. There were five towns plus a foreboding castle on the far end, mountains and forests and anything you could think to include on a TRPG board, all carefully hand crafted out of wood. Various figures were scattered through out, townspeople, monsters, generic hero figures and even animals.
Bakura had been working for many months on his board and it showed. As did his pride in it.

"Wow," was all he could think to say. He doubted anything he made would look that good!

"Can you show me how? I mean, maybe a few beginner's tips?"

"Aa- you don't have to call me sir! Just Bakura is fine!" he smiled.

Really, he knew Ness was just being polite, but...

"Okay, Bakura, if you insist."
