WHO: Wanda Maximoff and YOU (seriously, come play with me right now, yes I mean you)
WHERE: an open-air market, somewhere in The City
WHEN: at any point this afternoon
WARNINGS: none!
SUMMARY: Wanda has wandered off on her own and stumbled upon something a little more familiar.
FORMAT: quicklog, or whatever, I’m flexible
[Wanda had been reluctant to venture out of the MAC alone, but Pietro had not answered the door when she knocked, and she really should at least attempt navigation on her own, for once. Of course, having a destination in mind wouldn’t have hurt, but she was not far past the streets she had walked previously when she stumbled upon a delightful little open-air market, all squished-up between two towering brick structures.]
[With a pleased little smile playing about her features, Wanda slips into the crowd -- it is not so frightening as those on the streets were, somehow -- and proceeds to lose herself in the simple task of bargain-hunting.]

By risking your life regularly to protect them? That is a hefty rent, don't you think?

[He scratches the back of his head, trying to look casual about the fact that he's basically talking about running around shooting arrows at purse snatchers]
That's more of a bad habit I picked up from my dad, that I don't think will ever really die.

Is that how it works? I've always wondered where heroes came from -- I suppose legacy makes as much sense as anything.

I think most heroes strike out on their own though, which is probably a lot more admirable.

I guess so. And there are worse people I could have followed after.

You are lucky to have such a role model.
[pause]
Where are you headed, anyway? I mean, now, not.. abstractly.

[Connor glaces the way he was heading before he stopped to talk.]
No where in particular. I'm just trying to get as well acquainted with the City during the day as I can.

We share a common goal, then. Perhaps we should travel together.

Is there anything in particular you'd like to find?
[slooowly starts walking in whatever direction they are going to walk]
no subject
Not really. I've managed to find all... three stores in the city that I needed to, to survive here.
[And he realizes that the joke he made was both lame... and kind of true.]
Anything you need?

[She could use some new clothes, but she knows better than to subject a new male acquaintance to such activities.]
I suppose we will just see what we find.
