Two logs in a day?
WHO: Safeguard and Bakura
WHERE: Upper west toys.
WHEN: This morning
WARNINGS: None?
SUMMARY: Safeguard overslept, and this is almost late for work.Yea, we can blame this on the most recent comm chat he had with Vector, or the end parts of it. Note: It's all private and perma minicon for Safey. :)
FORMAT: Para.
hfgsdhdksjh Was what Safeguard's mind was right now, as he madly darted around his room, pulling on his clothes for the day, picking up socks and shoes and then diving into the kitchen. Aurex was there, mewling, loudly, for food, and it was Safeguard's job to look after her. She would have been hell for those in the kitchen before he woke up, and he did feel a little guilty for it..With a soft murmur of 'Sorry girl', he dished out her food, then started to pull his shoes on.
Slag slag slag slag! He'd slept in, past his alarm as well, and now he was sure he was going to be late and dfhlksjh jkhadkj. ARRGGG!
Thankfully, no one was around to see him juggle feeding Aurex, his shoes and find himself food, though he'd have to forgo that. He didn't even bother tying the shoe laces.
"Sorry girl, I have to run." He murmured, giving her a scritch behind the ears, receiving a happy purr in reward for his attention to her. Really, she owned his heart already.. "Please try and be a good girl. I'll be home after lunch with Schro. I'll see if I can pick you up a treat, too."
A final pat, and he was out the door, and sprinting, though he was soon in the air. He just really, really hoped that he wasn't late for work.
It would be embarrassing.

... it had nothing to do with not wanting to have an awkward moment regarding Alastair at all. Of course it wouldn't. Nothing had changed, after all. Everything was just the same. It was because he was worried for Matsuka, depressed because of Taiitsu and Misao's disappearances, trying to figure out solutions to things that were not at all his problems. That was it. Really.
He was no good at lying to other people, but lying to himself? It was second nature.
He gave a deep sigh, running a hand through his hair as he looked over the order forms on his desk. And besides. Coming in early gave him time to cover doing the work Carol would have done. Much as he was aware that he really should be looking for someone to fill that position, he was stubborn in holding it in hopes that Matsuka would be able to take it. He couldn't do much to help the situation, but he could help his friend as much as he could...
He looked up at the monitors in distraction for what must have been the 50th time that morning before pausing and blinking. Huh. Had he misread the time? ... no, no it was that late. Odd. Normally Safeguard was very punctual... it wasn't at all like him to be late.
He pushed back on his chair, getting to his feet and heading over to the time clock to meet his friend.
And now AIM will not let me sign in. WTF?
He was mentally flailing as well. ?He was never late and this was unacceptable, in his mind. Never mind that the punctual thing might
have beenwas picked up from millions of years of traveling with Vector - It was simply unacceptable. At all. And, it was rude.Straightening his clothes, he ran a hand through his hair, and sighed as he finger combed it. It was also getting long. He'd need to get a hair cut, soon. Odd, to think about needing one, but he wasn't surprised that it was growing. Organic things tended to grow. Like toe nails.
Oh well, that thought later. With a mental brace for a lecture if he was really late, he headed in to the store.
Because you've bounced so much. Try an alternate account
The only other account is one I'm unwilling to use. But OK.
Make a new one for when AIM's a dick?
He had a bit of a nagging feeling there was more to it, but he wasn't going to pry.
"Want some tea before you start? Might help you wake up."
Adding you to the other one now. :)
There was more, but Safeguard wouldn't outright say it. "Tea sound good, if you do not mind."
and I will be on my way home in a moment. :D
OK!

"Heeeh, sounds neat! Do you know what countries he went to?"
