welcome to All That Jazz
WHO: Angelo and Suzi
WHERE: All That Jazz
WHEN: Friday night
WARNINGS: I have NO idea.
SUMMARY: Angelo hangs out somewhere that is not his house or the Institute XD
FORMAT: Paragraph
It was Suzi's turn as the head bartender tonight and the club was busy as usual with a number of thirsty clients and hungry customers. The music was pumping throughout the club as they waited for the main act to start up but people were staying happy with their drinks. Suzi was happy with the tips that were coming in.
She grabbed another towel to mop up another section of the bar and wondered if Angelo would stop by. She'd run into him at the Institute a few times and the last time she bumped into him she mentioned working at the club. He seemed a little down the last they met and she hoped he'd stop by. She didn't know him very well but it seemed like he could've used a friend.
Another customer came up with the look of expectation. Suzi set her towel aside and walked over, "And how're you doin' tonight?"

She didn't know him very well but it seemed like he could've used a friend.
Another customer came up with the look of expectation. Suzi set her towel aside and walked over, "And how're you doin' tonight?"

She took the glass from him and set it into the wash bin, "Thanks, saves me a trip." She printed out a receipt for a customer looking to close their tab and wiped down the bar again for another customer to grab a seat. "So were you recruited to be part of X-Men?"
no subject
"Nah, I just went to Massachusetts for training. The superhero gig was never really my thing, even if we were fighting off marrow-sucking mutant vamps every other week."
no subject
"I remember thinking it was the most amazing thing I'd ever be a part of," she said thinking back to what she could remember. "I was studying with Dr. MacTaggert first actually. The Professor came for us when he needed help with the real team of X-Men."
She raised her eyebrow, "Marrow-sucking mutant vamps?"

Angelo flipped a hand. "Well, just one: Emplate. You heard of 'im? He was in the City for a while there and attacked the mansion once."
After a few moments, he paused, a name that she'd mentioned niggling at his memory.
"Doctor Mac..." Angelo trailed off with a frown, partly in thought and partly because he wasn't sure he could repeat the name properly. His eyes widened in recognition. "Wait, as in Moira? The Moira that Sean was all obsessed about?"
no subject
She frowned, she hadn't done much but she wasn't the most experienced fight around. She dismissed the thought as Angelo looked thoughtful, like he wanted to ask her something.
"Doctor Moira MacTaggert? Yeah, that's her," Suzi said confidently. "But I don't remember a Sean," she added hesitatingly. "Why do you say obsessed?"
