[Sam is standing in the main room of the mansion, dressed in his uniform with his goggles put up in his hair. He's waiting for Sally to arrive so they can leave.]

[She looks down at her hands.]

[He places his hand on her shoulder.]

[She nods, and hugs him tightly, needing just to feel him for a moment.]

Yeah. I don't want any of you getting hurt or any innocent people...and I don't want them to get whatever they're after.

[He looks down at her. He knows how possible it is he'll be hurt, and that maybe even getting killed is an option. This is war.

But no one else. No one else on his team is getting hurt. Not like Xi'an, not again.]

[She just keeps hugging him.]

[He hugs her back, and kisses the top of her head. He wants to tell her that being team leader means a lot of things, and he's willing to throw himself in front of his friends, but he doesn't.]

We can finish this place up when we mark it, Sally. Do you wanna fly now?

[She nods, and pulls back a little.]

Flying sounds really good.

[She brushes his hair back.]

Can we do loops?

Sure. Lead the way out, and Ah'll take you up.

[She leads them to the closest exit, and they come up in the middle of some trees in Central Park.]

Up up and away?

[ahhmahgawd]

[He picks her up, then, and shoots right up into the sky.]

Up we go! Hold on!

[prettymorlock]

[She holds on tightly, and grins.]

I love it up here.

[ahhmahgawd]

Yeah, me too.

[Smiles. He likes when she's happy.]

I'd hope so!!

Loops, please!

[AND LOOPS HE DOES!]

[She giggles and shrieks.]

Never, Sam. Again, please!

[More and more and more loops. He goes faster.]

[She keeps giggling and making various happy sounds as they fly, holding tightly onto him.]

[He flies with her for awhile, doing loops and making sure she has fun after that whole conversation. He just wants her to be happy, so he's going to try his best to keep her smiling.]
