So I put my hands up, they're playing my song
WHO: The Spider-Family!
WHERE: One of the MAC rec rooms.
WHEN: Saturday, early evening.
WARNINGS: Spider-Shenanigans.
SUMMARY: Harry's back from the hospital, so it's time for pizza and pool! The kind with a stick, not the kind you need a swimsuit for.
FORMAT: Quicklog, then whatever!
[ The rec room is reminiscent of your average college lounge: a well-worn and faintly musty couch and armchairs, dinged-up tables and metal chairs, a CRT television with a large screen, a water cooler, and a pool table. On the table nearest the pool table are several 2-liter soda bottles, some dixie cups stolen from the water cooler, a few bags of chips and doritos, napkins, a few takeout menus (all pizza), and several dollar-store balaclavas, the kind that have openings just for the eyes and mouth.
Peter's hanging out on the couch, in his civvies but with webshooters on. He's killing time waiting for people to arrive by building a classic card tower. ]

buuuut, that didn't happen so she's... hesitating at the entrance of the rec room, in civvies (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=28732564) galore (mmn polyvore). there's a pause as she looks around -- surprised that she's the first person there and relieved -- and then a moment where she's just... staring at Peter from behind those giant sunglasses. (don't start. ugh. don't start.)
finally, she walks in and waves ]
Uh. Hey.
no subject
Hey, Spider-Woman. Love the shades, very chic.
no subject
sooo she just hovers by the door, extreme awkward. ]
Think so? Figured they were a bit more fashionable than a ski mask.
[ and her gaze... moving over to the pile of them. ]

[ A beat, then he starts pulling his own sunglasses and balaclava
which totally has a mouth opening, okayout of his vest pocket. He puts them on as he speaks. ]I'm not so much into the mod look, so I figured I'd better double up.
[ Ta-dah! ]
How do I look?
no subject
staring at him.
so much staring.
opens mouth and then... shuts it again.
WHAT EVEN. ]
Do you want the honest truth or do you want me to stroke your ego?
OKAY STOPPING NOW SO OTHERS CAN TAG IN
Ego-stroking, obviously.

He has his father's shield with him, and wet hair because he just got out of a shower.]
Were we supposed to wear masks?
/zoomj
Well, they didn't tell me... [That's flippantly to James. To everyone else] Is everyone else gonna be like that? It'll be like I have my own cult! [Hmm, long term side benefits of cults... Harry likes this, thumbs up.]
also i am always so envious of your polyvores
(no subject)
oh look i finally remembered my polyvore password.
the hipster comment made me choke on my drink jsyk :|a
electro and peter's log degenerated into them accusing each other of being hipsters, no lie
Hipster: Another thing about which James is clueless
arrgh, stupid lj not sending me notifs even though I tracked the log :(

PIZZA
no subject
So I held off on ordering pizza straight away because for all I know one of you likes something sacriligeous like Hawaiian or -- [ shudder ] anchovies, but we'd better get that out of the way now so the food arrives before we're forced to resort to cannibalism. What'd'you guys say?
no subject
I say extra meat.
no subject
...extra meat sounds all right, though

no subject
How many pizzas are we ordering?
asfsdadjfklfjakl /SHOVES EVERYONE
Extra cheese.
[ and she pauses ]

do you remember how much you llloooooved being stared at? ]
no subject
Are you going to play, or are you just going to watch?
no subject
Have no qualms with just watching.
Unless you want me to play.
no subject
Well. I am bored, and no one else seems to be volunteering...
no subject
In that case.
[ she'll be picking up the other cue, moving over to the table ]
I should point out that I've never really played before.

[ He's plonked himself back down nearby, slice of pizza in hand. Knowing teenagers ... if someone takes Matt up on the implicit challenge, well, it should be good dinner entertainment. ]
