SUMMARY: Wherein the Doctor and Jack spend all their money on a big old party! Sorry Ian -_-;

The Doctor hopped around the house making sure everything was to his satisfaction. There were streamers and balloons filling every nook and cranny and all of it was especially tacky and wonderful! Humans sure knew how to make decoration!!

The small backyard managed to fit two bounce houses (a castle and a water based bounce house), and inflatable pool entirely too small for adults, and the grills. There was the danger of someone bouncing into the pool but the Doctor saw that as more opportunity for fun! Inside there was food on every flat surface and downstairs where once the aquacat pool was now was ready for dancing! Even if no one showed the Doctor was going to have a good time!

Of course the real show started at sundown with the Doctor's own firework show helped along with human gunpowder and Time Lord know-how. Hope someone has the fire department on speed dial!

[Teddy just smirks. He may not be as big into musicals as Billy is but watching them with the boyfriend helps to learn a few things.]

Cinderella. Now let's dance. [He's just going to pick you up and carry you out there if you don't come along.]

Okay, now I know I watch too many musicals if you know that. I think I've corrupted you. Is it bad that I'm not sorry at all?

[Teddy laughs and reaches to just pick Billy up.] Just because I don't watch them as much as you do doesn't mean I don't pay attention to them. And you can make it up to me on the dance floor, Billy. [He's grinning again as he carries Billy to join in the dancing.]

[Jalkjdasd TEDDY WHAT ARE YOU DOING stupid boyfriends with super strength] Hey! I have two legs that work perfectly fine!

[But you probably would have had to drag him onto the floor anyway so suppose this works.]

Could have fooled me with how you weren't moving them at all. [He's teasing. Once they're out on the dance floor, Teddy sets Billy down and grins.] Show me how your legs work by dancing?

[Billy lets out an exaggerated huff.] The things I do for you. [Listens to the music for a moment to get the beat as he takes Teddy's hands then does a rock step, step, step, rock step, step, step... That's how they do it in the movies, he's pretty sure.] I feel absolutely ridiculous. [But he's grinning anyway.]

Oh you love me. [Teddy just grins. The blond moves with Billy but he doesn't seem impressed.] You'll feel less ridiculous if we do more than just sway back and forth, B. [He's grinning too.]

I do. But sometimes I wonder why when you drive me crazy. And not in the good way.

Hey, this is the best you're going to get, T. An expert swing dancer, I am not.

[Have a pout, Billy.] I drive you crazy?

I know you can dance better than this. C'mon, please Billy? [He leans in to kiss Billy.]

Sometimes. Not often. But that's normal. And I love everything about you, even the things you do that drive me crazy.

[Okay, okay, puts forth a better effort just for you, Teddy.]

[Teddy just smiles, putting in more effort himself. He really loves these little moments they have together, just enjoying one another and not having to worry about someone being a homophobic jerk.]

[Lifts Teddy's arm up and does a spin underneath it, laughing.] I have no idea what I'm doing.

[Teddy laughs and dips Billy back when the spin finishes.] Doesn't matter. I like what you're doing.

[Holds onto him so he doesn't fall over. He's having a 'I can't stop laughing because I feel ridiculous but this is fun and amusing' moment complete with a dorky grin.] I try my best.

[Teddy keeps Billy close. He won't let hm fall.] And I love you for it. And other things.

Careful. Keep up the sweet talk and I just might have to drag you away somewhere to thank you for being such a sappy boyfriend. [Gives him a kiss.]

[He kisses back.] Unless I drag you off into one for being such a wonderful boyfriend first.

[Rolls his eyes.] If only my bubbe could see us now. Wanted me to meet a nice and sweet Jewish girl at a dance. I wonder if she would settle for a nice and sweet former Episcopal alien boy instead.

... Have you ever met her yet?

[Teddy laughs a little.] No, I haven't met her yet. Your little brothers apparently are going to tell her all about you and me though. [Now it's his turn to roll his eyes.]

Be glad. You think my mother is terrifying? You don't want to meet her mother. Because trust me, she definitely got all her scariness from Bubbe.

And if that does happen, be prepared for her to interrogate you over the phone. I want to be there to watch your face when she does.

I know. Your father warned me all about her. [Teddy snickers, starting to lead Billy off the dance floor in as subtle a way as he can.]

I'm not worried.

Poor Dad. You should ask him for tips. I don't know what he did to get her to like him but whatever it was worked. [Just goes with the flow and lets Teddy lead.]

Might have something to do with his cooking skills maybe. [He chuckles. Eventually Teddy leads them off to a chair in the corner and pulls Billy into his lap as he sits.]

That could be it. Ask him for some lessons.

[Glances pointedly at an empty chair right next to Teddy, then looks back at him with a raised eyebrow.]

I think I will. That way I'll be able to cook for you too.

[He just smiles in return, hugging Billy closer.]
