Big Bang Three!

SUMMARY: Wherein the Doctor and Jack spend all their money on a big old party! Sorry Ian -_-;

The Doctor hopped around the house making sure everything was to his satisfaction. There were streamers and balloons filling every nook and cranny and all of it was especially tacky and wonderful! Humans sure knew how to make decoration!!

The small backyard managed to fit two bounce houses (a castle and a water based bounce house), and inflatable pool entirely too small for adults, and the grills. There was the danger of someone bouncing into the pool but the Doctor saw that as more opportunity for fun! Inside there was food on every flat surface and downstairs where once the aquacat pool was now was ready for dancing! Even if no one showed the Doctor was going to have a good time!

Of course the real show started at sundown with the Doctor's own firework show helped along with human gunpowder and Time Lord know-how. Hope someone has the fire department on speed dial!

[Teddy nods.] Sounds nice, having family around like that.

[Teddy pauses and glances at the grill.] Hey, would you like me to go get you something while you're stuck manning the grill? A drink maybe?

A beer would be great, if you want to.

I'll be right back with one for you then. [Teddy gives a quick nod and wanders off. A few moments later someone that looks like Teddy...only a few years older comes back.] Here you are, one cold beer. [He hands over the bottle as he shifts back to how he looked when he walked up to the grill for the first time.]

[Ted blinks a little and gives him an appreciative nod.] That's a neat trick.

[He smiles.] Thanks. People ask less question when a guy that looks like he's in his late twenties takes a beer than a teenager.

[He pauses a moment.] I don't use it to buy alcohol or anything. I still obey the law.

[Teddy blushes faintly.] Sorry, just a little used to people jumping to that conclusion when they find out.

I've just had more experience with people assuming I use my powers less responsibly is all. It's cool meeting more people who don't assume that.
