Big Bang Three!

WHO: [livejournal.com profile] daft_old_man and EVERYONE!
WHERE: The TARDIS house
WHEN: Forward dated to July 4th
WARNINGS: The Doctor is in charge of the fireworks. Enough said.
SUMMARY: Wherein the Doctor and Jack spend all their money on a big old party! Sorry Ian -_-;
FORMAT: Whatever folks want! It's a free for all!

The Doctor hopped around the house making sure everything was to his satisfaction. There were streamers and balloons filling every nook and cranny and all of it was especially tacky and wonderful! Humans sure knew how to make decoration!!

The small backyard managed to fit two bounce houses (a castle and a water based bounce house), and inflatable pool entirely too small for adults, and the grills. There was the danger of someone bouncing into the pool but the Doctor saw that as more opportunity for fun! Inside there was food on every flat surface and downstairs where once the aquacat pool was now was ready for dancing! Even if no one showed the Doctor was going to have a good time!

Of course the real show started at sundown with the Doctor's own firework show helped along with human gunpowder and Time Lord know-how. Hope someone has the fire department on speed dial!

Ian is just tipsy enough to indulge Jack with a dance--which at the moment he thinks is amusing, though he'll probably be embarrassed by it later.

But this is now, and Ian takes Jack's hands with a crooked smile. "I know a few steps! I'm not from the Stone Age, you know, I only visited!"

Ha ha time travel jokes.

"There's a place I haven't visited," Jack grins and starts dancing.

"1940s, yes, Tokyo, yes, just not the Stone Age. ...Yet."

Ian, as promised, keeps up with relative ease, though it's obvious he's being goofy about it, over-exaggerating his moves a bit.

"I don't recommend it! Terribly tetchy era."

"I'll keep that in mind," Jack grins, and might actually be making a few mis-steps. We can only blame the alcohol.

"You didn't get almost eaten by a dinosaur or anything, did you?"

"There weren't any dinosaurs in the Stone Ages. Don't be ridiculous."

Blame the alcohol is a good idea, considering the picture the two of them are probably making on the dance floor.

"Well hey, I've never been there," he points out, and pouts a little.

"This is doing a good job of being ridiculous for us, anyway," he notes, grinning. "Or at least the Doctor would say so."
