Who Piccolo
namekian and YOU
Where Out and about
When 7/18, afternoon
Warning None
Summary Piccolo tries to escape the confinement of the MAC, and is running errands for his new living situation.
Format whatev
All efforts were still unsuccessful. He had been in this City for a while now. Since meditation was a good escape from his surroundings, the fact was he was still in a confined space became the harsh reality he was faced with every time he opened his eyes. The contact between nature and spirit was really starting to fade, thanks to thin apartment walls, neutrally colored carpeting, and the noise from the street. There was a vast difference between birds chirping and the wind gently passing through the leaves of a tree and loud traffic and gunshots outside.
How were people even able to think here?
He didn't wear civilian clothes often, but he was tired of the attention his eccentric cape drew. It was a quick errand, not a fight nor training. He didn't need his cape. The turban though? That was staying. Until he could find something else to cover the antennae. Not that the green skin and freakish tallness wasn't enough to make someone look twice.

Easy to guess he was an imPort, not many humans tend to have ears like that. It's a varied enough community that she could probably greet him, but actually broaching the subject might be a little too meddlesome, especially to strangers.
After a lot of long staring and consideration, she finally spoke up. "You're fairly new, aren't you?"

"I guess you can say that." The two months he had spent here already seemed to be forever, but he knew it paled in comparison to others that had been there for years. He eyed her a moment. As far as he knew she was a native, but he sensed something else there that told him otherwise. "Quite the introduction. Can I assume you're an Import too?"

But she's not about to let him get away that easily, either, so as her glow flares up in frustration, she starts walking along beside him. "Excuse me, but if you hadn't noticed, I'm offering my services to assist you in the dilemma! It can be frustrating to attempt to assimilate into human life for non-humans, even when we're granted the anatomical disguise I have been. It would do you good to have someone more knowledgeable on the subject to share their information."

Goddamn that old man was a nuisance.

She stared back at his turban again. "At the moment you're roughly as subtle as a digit flushed with blood following a painful collision."

"What, then, was your intention with this outfit?"

And she pulls at the air, a green thread pulling with her, and a wide portal opens up to reveal the interior of those very offices.
