Who Piccolo
namekian and YOU
Where Out and about
When 7/18, afternoon
Warning None
Summary Piccolo tries to escape the confinement of the MAC, and is running errands for his new living situation.
Format whatev
All efforts were still unsuccessful. He had been in this City for a while now. Since meditation was a good escape from his surroundings, the fact was he was still in a confined space became the harsh reality he was faced with every time he opened his eyes. The contact between nature and spirit was really starting to fade, thanks to thin apartment walls, neutrally colored carpeting, and the noise from the street. There was a vast difference between birds chirping and the wind gently passing through the leaves of a tree and loud traffic and gunshots outside.
How were people even able to think here?
He didn't wear civilian clothes often, but he was tired of the attention his eccentric cape drew. It was a quick errand, not a fight nor training. He didn't need his cape. The turban though? That was staying. Until he could find something else to cover the antennae. Not that the green skin and freakish tallness wasn't enough to make someone look twice.

She's stopped to grab a hotdog from a local vendor and was about to move on her way again when the green skinned man caught her attention. Now, as used to strange things as Kenzi was green skin was one of those things she couldn't over look. His height didn't seem to phase her any though. She's a tiny girl, she's used to everyone towering over her.
Without a second thought she made her way over to the man. "So I take it someone really took eating their veggies to an extreme level."

"Yup, tha's me." she managed around the mouthful of food. What are manners? She swallowed and cleared her throat. "Your Piccolo, right?"

She bobs her head in a nod as she wipes off her hands. "About as well as I can I guess. I mean the MAC isn't bad."

Easy to guess he was an imPort, not many humans tend to have ears like that. It's a varied enough community that she could probably greet him, but actually broaching the subject might be a little too meddlesome, especially to strangers.
After a lot of long staring and consideration, she finally spoke up. "You're fairly new, aren't you?"
no subject
"I guess you can say that." The two months he had spent here already seemed to be forever, but he knew it paled in comparison to others that had been there for years. He eyed her a moment. As far as he knew she was a native, but he sensed something else there that told him otherwise. "Quite the introduction. Can I assume you're an Import too?"

He passed the man on the street and barely looked, so used to other aliens from his home dimension, before it registered how peculiar it was now, here, on this world.
"Oh! Hello."
no subject
"Hey."
The man didn't look hostile. He didn't sound it either- who was the last alien that said "Hello" to him anyway? Not Frieza, that's for sure. Then again, Piccolo started off saying hello to him with his fist.
"...Sorry. It's been a while since I've run across an alien. I guess that should be happening more often in this place."

The headtail coiled gently about his shoulders, not unlike a cat's tail, relaxed and flicking slowly.
"I am Saint Walker, of Odym. It is a pleasure." By way of polite introduction, though he didn't offer his hand--that was a human habit, and he wasn't sure if this one had different greeting rituals.

yikes! I'm really sorry
He shrugs, a little awkward now that he's realized he's lecturing. "I don't know, I just think it's important to know these things -- to not repeat the sins of the past."
