Oh, no, it hasn't been all that long. Just a bit over a month.

I can't say that I have. It sounds pretty fancy.

You're all settled in and everything? I know how weird things around here can get...

Well, I don't know if I'd say fancy. It does have a hold in most things, though.

Oh shucks, I've settled in just fine! It's much more normal here than it was before I left, anyhow, and I've got my best friends with me and everything! [ She misses her dad, of course, but it wasn't like she would never see him again. ]

That's good, honey. Lots of people don't have their friends here with them. That makes it so much easier to deal with the stuff that happens here.

It's a real shame to think people are stuck here without their friends. I mean shucks, I don't know what I'd do without mine.
