Taking his time to scan the vast menu the Doctor rubbed his hands together and finally ordered]

Yes, I'd like one slice of everything with custard. Open a tab because I'm in the mood to try all your delicacies!

[Ned is left a little slack-jawed. It's a big menu after all!! Only Zee has been known to order like this. But he quickly gathers his wits about him and takes the pen from behind his ear, scrawling something across his notepad before looking up.]

Coffee with that? [Oh, accent.] Or tea? And would you like your pie to come out together or slice-by-slice. It might be a bit daunting all at once, but that's personal preference, probably. [a beat] Can I interest you in a la mode? Or one of our seasonal cup-pies.

[The Doctor leans on the counter very close to Ned, because this cup-pies it a very serious matter]

[ Wally sits at a booth in front of three whole pies: one coconut custard, one pumpkin pecan, and one over the moon pie.

He's celebrating: He got the job at Rossum labs.

He has to eat them at a normal pace when he's not in costume, but he got the job so he doesn't mind taking his time with it. ]

[Ned is amused by all the pie, bringing Wally a tall glass of milk to wash it all down.]

[It's been awhile since Bobbi treated herself to some dessert, and upon seeing Ned on the Network, she decided to hit up the Pie Hole, for old time's sake.

She bites her lip as she stares at the menu, a touch overwhelmed by the extravagant holiday decor. But hey, she's not judging. She enjoys the holidays as much as anybody else.]

Everything looks so delicious. This is going to be a difficult decision.

[He cocks his head to the side.] I suggest tripleberry, when you don't know which berry to choose. It has a little something for everybody.

[ Jessica was just responding to the random thought, not noticing where it had come from. Her head was momentarily clouded with visions of toffee and lemon and cream. ]

Ned, but I will put up an open at some point.

[The Pie Hole is definitely not difficult to find, so it isn't too long after Fry's conversation with Ned he gets there. He grabs a menu off a nearby table, letting out a low whistle as he takes in all the options. Or at least the amount of them. He's probably not actually reading them all.]

Woah. That's a lot of pies.

[How did it get so busy in here tonight!!!! Ned really can't complain since he has no murders to solve to supplement his income at present. But then he sees orange hair poking out from one of the booths and hey it's his new delivery boy he guesses.

Ned forgoes the other tables to walk up to Fry's, smiling a bit.] What sounds good? Uh. To you.

[ Jane is cheerfully sitting by herself in a booth, a small slice of each pie on a number of plates in front of her. Which is strange in and of itself, but it seems she's very intent on her pie-tasting, taking small, deliberate bites--before jotting down a few things in a notebook she's brought along with her. ]

Hm...so that was the lemon meringue...[ Lalala, jotting things down. ]

[From her seat a few tables over, Bobbi has noticed the girl taking notes about the recipes. Her enthusiasm for the desserts is kind of adorable.]

How was it? [Her voice is clear, with a slight southern twang to it and her expression is friendly.] The meringue. I was tempted to try that one.

[This practice is making Ned very nervous!!!!]

I know you couldn't tell me if you were, but if you are a critic maybe you could give me some sort of sign. [That sounded so stupid, he bit his lip backing up his statement.] Scratch that. Can I do something for y-you? Get you anything else?

...Though you already have the whole shop on your table...

[Oh. Hey. Look who bothered to show up!

Charlie still doesn't know what she thinks about Ned, but... Pie is pie, and Ned promised her a free slice.

She mostly just looked around, before settling at a table and taking out her laptop.]

[He smiles warmly though he's unsure about her as well AND THE LAPTOP SEEMS RUDE TO NED. Just sayin. No wifi up in here homie, he's oldschool.]

Charlie, you came. Have you looked over the menu yet?

[ Bradbury isn't really sure what he's doing here, other than it seemed to be a good idea at the time his feet started taking him in this direction. It's late in the evening - almost closing hours, in fact - but he's restless and not in the mood to head back to his apartment just yet.

He'd been invited, kind of. Hadn't he?

He kind of just stands awkwardly outside in his slightly-torn suit, freshly dressed wounds on his head and neck, not sure if he can step in or not. They're probably closed, right? ]

[Ned is sweeping up, just having turned off the neon and flipped the sign to closed when he sees a the shadow of a man in the doorway. His clothes are torn, he can see, and he's ashamed to admit the first thought he has is 'zombie.' Digby edges into the dining room in case Ned needs backup, as the pie maker unlocks the door and quickly flings it open.] C-can we help you?

[ Just as Irene promised, she made a point to stop by. It would be rude to decline the invitation, eliminating the possibility of a friendship before even giving it a chance. (Who says everything has to be all work and no play?) Besides, the American holiday of Thanksgiving was fast approaching, and what better time to give the pie shop a visit. She never had the pleasure of celebrating in London, not even in her occasional travels to New Jersey.

Her eyes sweep over the menu for a moment, impressed with the variety of choices, if anything. ]

Hm. What would you recommend?

[Ned sighs, not this question again, but he goes about answering it to the best of his ability.]

Well, it's comfort food. Which description inspires the most... comfort, within you?

[As promised, it doesn't take Minako all that long from speaking to Ned over the network to jogging briskly up to the Pie Hole's entrance. She takes a moment for a deep breath and a check of her hair in her reflection in the window, then steps inside, looking around curiously.]

[Luckily, at least to Ned's thinking, it's been pretty slow in here since Thanksgiving. Everyone still has leftovers, and the pies that are being ordered are for delivery. So when she walks in there's indeed, no one but the pie maker inside. Well, the pie maker and his constant golden companion. Ned lets Digby greet their guest first being that the restaurant is as empty as it is, but he quickly follows behind.]

Minako. That was fast.

[True to his word, Stephen makes the short trek from Bleecker Street to the Pie Hole, arriving just slightly before ten. Apparently he'd over estimated the complexities of closing with his single remaining part time associate. It doesn't make him any keener on keeping the stop longer than necessary, but it is comforting to know that even someone as old, stubborn, and spoilt as him is capable of doing actual work, when it's required. Naturally, he'd prefer Zoidberg simply appear and reclaim his old job of course. That would be the simplest solution. Ah well.

Glancing through the window of the establishment curiously, Stephen tabs on the glass as instructed earlier, waiting for a response.]

[The snowflake lights around the bar are the only illumination inside, and so when Ned appears to unloatch the door, it's seemingly out of thin air. He has a broom in one hand, and when he opens the door a golden fluffface known as Digby is crashed out in the middle of the floor.]
