[It's been awhile since Bobbi treated herself to some dessert, and upon seeing Ned on the Network, she decided to hit up the Pie Hole, for old time's sake.

She bites her lip as she stares at the menu, a touch overwhelmed by the extravagant holiday decor. But hey, she's not judging. She enjoys the holidays as much as anybody else.]

Everything looks so delicious. This is going to be a difficult decision.

[onetouch]

[He cocks his head to the side.] I suggest tripleberry, when you don't know which berry to choose. It has a little something for everybody.

That does sound nice. [She nods, having decided.] What about ice cream to go with it?

[onetouch]

Vanilla? [he asked, with a smile.] Perhaps some cocoa. It's getting chilly out there.

[mocks]

Aw, sport, I think you've read my mind. That sounds completely heavenly.

[onetouch]

['sport' lmao. he flushes just a bit...] Coming right up. [oh and pay no mind to his cracking voice. 30 going on 13 man.]

[mocks]

[She'll just be grinning over here, even giving him a playful wink whenever he returns.]

[He offers up a small, tentative smile, pie a la mode and cocoa as requested being set in front of her.] I'm Ned.

[mocks]

I'm Bobbi. It's nice to meet you, Ned. [She smiles, admiring the presentation.] This looks wonderful.

[onetouch]

Oh, it is. [He nods, not with arrogance but rather just, knowledge.] I hope you enjoy it, Bobbi.

[He moves to turn away and leave her to it, but then immediately trips and almost-falls into the booth next to hers. Welp. He tries to act natural... but it's not an easy thing to make smooth.]

[mocks]

[She is about to bite into her pie but immediately drops her fork and springs to her feet to aid him.]

Aw, honey! Are you okay?

[onetouch]

Y-y-y-yes, don't worry--about me. Only my ego is bruised.

I know, right? Dilemma.

[ Jessica was just responding to the random thought, not noticing where it had come from. Her head was momentarily clouded with visions of toffee and lemon and cream. ]

[Recognizing the voice, Bobbi looks up from the menu, grinning at the sight of Jessica.]

The menu here is incredible. It must take everyone an hour to figure out what to eat.

[A beat.]

Long time, no see, by the way.

[motherfucked]

Oh, yeah. Hey. I remember now.

[She does a little awkward smile.]

[mocks]

Do ya?

[She looks a little relieved. That was all so awkward.]

I'm glad to hear it.

Yeah. It was— I dunno. Dimension switching is probably not good for your health.

[She raises an eyebrow.]

Pie, on the other hand…

It's a known scientific fact. Pie goes good with everything.

[A beat.]

It's good to have you back. Er, more back, I guess. However that works.

Uh, yeah. [ This is a weird conversation. Jessica Jones attempts to steer herself out of the awkward. ]

So, what do you think? Peach Melba or Orange-you Apricot?

I'm a sucker for peaches. But you can't go wrong with either.

How long have you been back in town?

A while, I guess. I try not to think about it.

[ A pause. ]

Is that bad?

[mocks]

Not at all. I think it's refreshing that you're not so hung up on it like everybody else is. You're not counting the days.
