[As promised, it doesn't take Minako all that long from speaking to Ned over the network to jogging briskly up to the Pie Hole's entrance. She takes a moment for a deep breath and a check of her hair in her reflection in the window, then steps inside, looking around curiously.]

[Luckily, at least to Ned's thinking, it's been pretty slow in here since Thanksgiving. Everyone still has leftovers, and the pies that are being ordered are for delivery. So when she walks in there's indeed, no one but the pie maker inside. Well, the pie maker and his constant golden companion. Ned lets Digby greet their guest first being that the restaurant is as empty as it is, but he quickly follows behind.]

Minako. That was fast.

Ye-es. [She draws the word out a little in a cheerful almost sing-song.] I didn't have to go far, and I thought it'd be better if I didn't keep you waiting very long.

This is Digby? [She kneels down, careful of her skirt, to put herself more on the dog's level, and holds out a hand for sniffing if Digby's so inclined.] Hello.

[onetouch]

[He nodded, and Digby pushed his nose into her hand, then licked it. Yay a new frand ;; Ned just grinned.]

Welcome to the Pie Hole.

[A pleased laugh, and Minako gives Digby a friendly ruffling behind the ears before she straightens back up onto her feet again.]

Thank you. I said so before, but it's nice to meet you in person. [She glances down to smile at Digby.] Both of you!

[Digby barks, just once. It's a friendly bark, but Ned shushes him and sends him off to the kitchen.]

The pleasure is ours, really. You're a lifesaver. [Ned pushed at his hair as he glanced around the place.] Want the grand tour? [his lips twitched]

Sure! I'd like that, if it wouldn't be too much trouble.

Of course not. [He gestured vaguely as he went, his insides boiling with nervousness, but he tried not to show it.] Those are the booths, and the tables and the bar. Anyone can sit wherever they like... And this is the pie rack. When I've finished a pie it'll go here, so always pull from the front. Uhm.

Do you have, experience? Waitressing.

[For her own part, Minako does not seem especially nervous, making this situation slightly backwards as far as job interviews go. She trails along, looking around where Ned indicates with great interest.]

I do! I worked part-time at a coffee shop back home for most of the past year, before I came here. It's probably not quite the same thing, but I think it's probably pretty close.

[onetouch]

Oh, good. [He relaxed just a bit after their little walk in a circle.] It isn't a very long tour, I'm afraid.

[xxii_thefool]

That's okay! It's a nice place. [She turns around where she stands to get another full look around.] I like the Christmas decorations.

[onetouch]

Oh! And I think I still have Shahrazad's uniform, so I'll... get that tailored for you. [Though with how small everything Shahrazad wore actually was... she may not have to have it taken in much.] That is.

If you're ready to start right away.

Of course! [She smiles brightly.] From what you said earlier it seemed like you were in kind of a pinch, so there's no reason that I can't start as soon as you want.

[onetouch]

Right. A pinch. [He smiled.] You don't know how much I appreciate it.

I'm glad to be able to help.

I have to warn you, I might take a weekend trip. Do you think you'll be alright here, alone? [...] I understand if it's too much to expect, too soon.

[xxii_thefool]

Hm? [This is a bit of a surprise, but even so she's not thrown for more than a moment.

She does take slightly longer to give it a bit of serious thought, at least.]

I think it'd be all right. I catch on fast, so if you need to go for the weekend, I'm sure I'll be able to manage. [This statement is punctuated with a confident nod.]
