SUMMARY: Thanksgiving is nearly here and it's time to do some grocery shopping!

[Bobbi has composed a long list of food items that will be needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. It's not just turkey that she has in mind-- there's all the fixings and alcohol to obtain as well. Luckily she's brought Clint along to help her with her food quest, and more importantly, to carry everything back to the Mansion in one piece.

Unfortunately, it seems like lots of people had the same idea to get started on their shopping several days in advance. The aisles are crowded with shoppers and their baskets and carts, filled to overflowing with boxes of mashed potatoes and stuffing. This grocery store is teetering on the brink of running out of Thanksgiving supplies, and honestly Bobbi is having none of it.]

Damn. I didn't think it would be this crowded already.

Something like that. [he starts loading a few turkeys into his car gingerly, as if they might bite him.]

So then it might be too late to put in an order of pie for Thursday...?

[onetouch]

What? Oh no, not at all. [he smiled gently] How many do you need?

[mocks]

[Her eyes roll a bit, and she starts to calculate just how many people she was supposed to be feeding.]

Maybe three? Can three pies feed ten people?

[onetouch]

I think that depends on how big their appetites are. How about this, buy three pies get one free? For helping me out with... [his gaze turned back to the birds, his nemeses.] this.

[mocks]

[She flashes him a big grin.]

I'd be an idiot to turn down a deal like that!

[onetouch]

Yes, you would. [a beat] And you're no idiot.

[mocks]

I'm sure not! [Lordy he's so cute.] Now, how 'bout we pick out a couple of birds for your party. You'll need more than just the one.

[onetouch]

How many do you think...? [He glanced from the two turkeys he had already put in his cart and... the sea of others. This was so hard.]

[mocks]

Why not three? If there's leftovers, you could make it into... a pot pie. Or something.

[onetouch]

You think that'll be enough? [he's just grabbing the biggest ones left]

Oh, no... it may sound silly, but I'm of the opinion that meat never belongs in a pie.

[mocks]

What? Never? [She offers him a hand with the turkey.]

[onetouch]

Thanks. [he shakes his head, very serious about this topic.] I guess I'm what you might call... a pie purist.

[mocks]

What does that mean, exactly?

[onetouch]

Well. It means that I believe pie should be a confectionery, reserved for after-supper and the spaces in between meals. Not to mention I don't eat meat, myself. [A brief, tight smile was flashed her way.]

[mocks]

Oh! You're a vegetarian? I had no idea.

[She smiles, too.]

I can understand what you mean about desserts. Nothing hits the spot quite like something sweet, with a homemade quality.

[He nods.] Since birth.

I would make a meat pie, if someone was in desperate need... but it isn't what I do.
