With my shopping cart I move through the heart
WHO: Bobbi Morse, Clint Barton & Open.
WHERE: A local supermarket.
WHEN: Monday afternoon.
WARNINGS: N/A
SUMMARY: Thanksgiving is nearly here and it's time to do some grocery shopping!
FORMAT: Quick. Start new threads, ram your carts into other people, have at it!
[Bobbi has composed a long list of food items that will be needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. It's not just turkey that she has in mind-- there's all the fixings and alcohol to obtain as well. Luckily she's brought Clint along to help her with her food quest, and more importantly, to carry everything back to the Mansion in one piece.
Unfortunately, it seems like lots of people had the same idea to get started on their shopping several days in advance. The aisles are crowded with shoppers and their baskets and carts, filled to overflowing with boxes of mashed potatoes and stuffing. This grocery store is teetering on the brink of running out of Thanksgiving supplies, and honestly Bobbi is having none of it.]
Damn. I didn't think it would be this crowded already.

It's turkey, babe. All things considered there are worse things to go nuts over.
no subject
You're right. At least we don't have to go toy shopping for Christmas.
no subject
How come we don't know anyone who can spontaneously create groceries for us? I feel like we should've come across more than one, by now.

He never realized just how bad it would be.
Which is why, pushing his cart through the supermarket, pulling supplies for ordinary meals off the shelves, he's looking both puzzled and increasingly irritated. His expression is clouded with sullenness enough usually, but now there's practically a storm of frustration brewing in his eyes.
Eventually, he mutters something under his breath. And anyone who can sense magic will feel it ripple through, of all things, his shopping cart.
Now when he pushes his way through a blockade of other carts, they crunch faintly and dent to let him through.
He only does it when the shoppers using them aren't looking, though. Or at least, when he thinks they're not.]

Easy, pal. I know it's crowded, but the carts didn't do anything wrong.
no subject
Oh...? Well, it's not my fault I seem to have picked up a sturdier cart than everyone else. Jeez, they should really look into that.

[Her brow arches. She's not exactly buying this excuse, but honestly, not much else seems plausible. She responds in a deadpan voice:]
Here's hopin' it's not contagious.

When he looked up and out of his reverie from trying to pick the perfect turkey--a seemingly impossible feat being that he couldn't eat nor touch meat--he spotted a familiar face, though it took him a minute to place it.] Bobbi.

Well, hi, Ned! How are you?

Smiling to herself, she glances up at Kang, noticing that he's also noticed the girl.]
Adorable, isn't she.

Luckily, most of what she wanted was not of a feast-like fare. She hears a woman's comment, and Vesper had to agree.]
It's only slightly too crowded for my tastes.

It's like everyone suddenly remembered they're supposed to cook things this weekend and they all went into full-on panic mode at once.

Brusquely, with a touch more disappointment in his ever unpleasant expression, he moves through the store, narrowly avoiding the shopping carts. If he's here, he may as well pick up a few things, after all.]
no subject
Don't tell me you didn't see me over there.
no subject
Sure didn't. Trainin' goes all to hell in this crowd.
[He smiles a little ruefully. He didn't see her, but he wasn't actually looking. In fact, he was doing his best to avoid looking at people in general.]
no subject
It sure is crowded here. It's enough to make a person lose their mind. Which makes me wonder what the hell you're doin' here, Nick.
