SUMMARY: Ned invites the whole City to the Pie Hole. He and Zatanna are cooking and baking everything (there are meat and meatless options), but feel free to bring a favorite from home!

[From the outside, the Pie Hole hasn't changed much, though the window is draped in elaborate snowflake-shaped lights, but inside is a whole other story. Zatanna has made quite a spectacle of the place, a huge banquet hall filled with long and short tables for enjoying your meal with any number of friends. And the decorations are outrageous. Ned's Christmas decorations, which were already over-the-top have all been magically enhanced and Thanksgivingsized like little crystalline pumpkin baubles and overspilling cornucopia on each buffet table, lined up in front of the kitchen. Ned is firmly putting his foot down this year: no one is to enter his kitchen but Zee or himself.

He'll be serving regular pie menu as well as breakfast (frittatas) until twelve noon at which point there will be an hour or two for people to arrive and mingle. The food will be out by 1:30-2 pm and dessert to be served at 3 pm. Ned just wants everyone to have a great day so come in and make yourself at home!! There are a few kegs as well if you all didn't listen and byob...]

[A drunken vampire is crashing this party, ya'll. Seeing as he's still ignorant to how innocuous the Sun is to him, he stayed inside all day watching A Christmas Story. All day. And drinking lots of stolen beer, of course. He literally stumbles past the glass doors, elbowing people as he goes. He hasn't had blood in a while, so that alcohol got to him fast, and he's chugging the last of his 12-pack as he makes his way to the food table.]

I've always wondered how they got these mini weenies so... mini.

[Stealthily comes up behind him and peeks over his shoulder.]

Voodoo, probably.

You know, it would follow. [He gestures with a skewer]

Don't seem like a voodoo kinda guy -- I like it when I'm surprised.

We'll just keep it a mystery then. [He's trying to hunt down some stronger form of booze, don't mind him as he nearly tips over everything on the table.]

I like that, too. [She doesn't know what he's doing, but if he asked, she could point him toward it. Booze is great :(]

Well good. I'd hate to disappoint. [He slips and nearly takes a header, but he catches himself at the last minute on the edge of the table.] There's gotta be somethin' heavier around here somewhere.

You should have asked me to start with. I did help organize this.

[She walks off and returns with what appears to be mid-grade and not too cheap whiskey. She just assumes he's going to drink the whole bottle so... she holds it out, one hand around the neck and the other placed firmly on the bottom.] You can tell me how much you love me later.

[His eyes lit up, did Christmas come early?] How ever will I repay you?

I can think of a few things, but they're far from appropriate. This is a family holiday, after all.

Says who? I'm not even from this country. [he's eating... something, he forgot to look at it first. now the virgin sip of booze... oh ahh yes. this is good :')]

Me, either. [Not technically, anyway. She joins in the booze sipping; a highball glass appears out of thin air and she takes a long drink from it.]

[By this point Kenzi's already fairly deep into the vodka herself. Not so much that she's having great difficulty getting around but enough that she's definitely on her way to drunk.

Upon overhearing Spike's question she contemplates being a smart-ass and replying with "magic", instead...]

Right. [he shakes one at her pointedly] Science... oy, you're the chit with the vampire friends.

[She reaches out to nab it, because that's how she rolls. Don't shake food at her if you don't want to lose it.]

Just one and I wouldn't really call him a friend. He was kinda a creep and just playing informant. By the way he was shitty at it.

[He lets it go, easily, he wasn't really set on eating it anyhow.] Most vamps are, can't keep their big yaps shut.

[Score! She pops it in her mouth and chews.] I wouldn't know, he's the only vamp I've had the uh, pleasure to meet. 'Cept maybe you, now.

I'm not the same as him. Not a bloody fae whatever-thing either.

Fae's just a blanket term, anyway. Basically anything mythological or whatever is considered Fae back home. Vampire, werewolves, succubi...you get the idea. [One of those little mini-wieners floats over and Kenzi snatches it out of the air before popping it in her mouth.]

[ yes, john watson is here, despite having never celebrated thanksgiving in his life. but he had a good day watching the festivities unfold and came to pick up something to eat before going back to the apartment.
