[As promised Kenzi arrives at the restaurant a little before seven (like five before); which is a feat given how often she's usually late. Since it would be out of place at this restaurant she hasn't gone all out on the dress up and hasn't overdone it with some stylish hairdo, just simple large loose curls. Simple yet stylish.

After coming through the door she quickly locates Gil and makes an attempt to sneak up on him. Although if he had any sense he would have been keeping his eyes on the door.]

[Kenzi quietly sips at her wine and glances over the desert menu once she's done eating. Although she could keep on talking forever, because when does she ever shut up, she's decided to let Gil have some peace while he finishes his meal.]

Naturally. Not sure what I want though, it all looks really good. Is there anything you want?

[invoking]

[ He declines with a shake of his head. He's had enough food for one night. He's starting to believe he'll be stuffed even by the time the morning rolls around. ]

No, that's fine. You can order something.

[wisecracked]

[Luckily, Kenzi is practically a bottomless pit. Or maybe unluckily, all depends on how you look at it.]

'Kay. [By the time the server comes over Kenzi's made up her mind. She orders hot fudge brownie sundae. Once she's gone Kenzi looks back over at Gil.]

So tonight hasn't been a total bust right?

[invoking]

Bust? Oh. [ It took him a moment there to understand what she had been trying to imply. He shakes his head again, wiping his hands on the handkerchief provided and then leaning his back against the chair. ] It's been fine. Don't worry about earlier.

[ As long as she isn't going to do it again. Otherwise, it's been a good dinner. ]

[wisecracked]

[She glad to hear it. She smiles brightly at him before nodding.] Good!

[She wishes she had more planned that just dinner but hadn't thought to look into anything else.]

[invoking]

[ He'll just wait quietly, even as the minutes go by and the server returns with Kenzi's dessert. Okay, so maybe he ponders for a quick second how she could eat a whole sundae after a large plate of dinner. ]

Really now...

[wisecracked]

[It is a lot of brownie and ice cream but Kenzi's determined to eat it all. She scoops up a large bite and is nearly floored by how rich it is.]

Unf, this is amazing. It's like a faeing orgy in my mouth.

Or-- [ He almost claps a hand to his mouth and wheezes. ]

[ Gil also nearly raises his voice, but he doesn't want to shout obscenities for everyone to hear so he hisses at her as quietly as he can. ] Kenzi! Don't-- don't start with t-that!

[wisecracked]

[She lowers her spoon and stares at him for a moment before laughing.] But, dude, it's amazing. You should try a bite.

[invoking]

[ He raises his hands to decline. ]

N-No thank you, I'm... I'm good.

[wisecracked]

What? Don't like sweets? [She squints at him before turning her attention back the monstrosity of a dessert.]

More for me then! [She shrugs and puts another large bite in her mouth.]

[invoking]

[ He doesn't want an orgy in his mouth, okay.

He sags in his chair and waits for her to finish. ]

I've eaten quite enough...

[wisecracked]

[But it's the most delicious thing ever, Gil! He don't know what he's missing.]

Mmmnkay. [Before long she starts to slow down, she's only managed to eat half of it but she's done.] I...think I'll just take the rest home.

[invoking]

[ He tilts his head up. ]

Can you do that in restaurants like these?

[wisecracked]

[She shrugs.] Don't see why not, it's paid for right?

[Not long after the server comes over. Kenzi asks about getting the rest of her brownie to go and soon enough it's packaged up for her. Since Xanatos worked things out earlier there's no check to wait on. Kenzi rises and grabs up her bottle of wine (which likely won't last her long) and left over dessert.]

Ready?

[invoking]

[ He rises as well, although he's eyeing the bottle of wine. ]

That, too?!

[wisecracked]

Paid for the whole thing. [She grins as she turns for the door.] Besides, it's a really good wine.

[invoking]

[ He collects his things and races after her, pulling on her arm for a moment. ] Wait -- even if you're taking it home, you can't simply walk outside with alcohol. It's against the law.

[wisecracked]

[Kenzi jerks to a stop and blinks up at him. After a moment she glances down at the bottle. Well, that is an issue.]

Oh, good point... [With Gil in tow she goes to the podium at the entrance to request a bag to carry home her stuff in. A short while later she's presented with a paper bag big enough for the bottle and her dessert.]

This should be fine right? [Turning back to Gil.]

[invoking]

[ He can't believe they even let her do that. He sighs. ]

... I think so.

[ He looks out the door, pulling his coat on and buttoning it up since the temperature has surely dropped since they arrived. ]

Um... do you want to walk for a bit?

[wisecracked]

[They made money off the bottle, probably more than they paid for it...

Once outside Kenzi pulls her jacket tighter around herself]

Sure.

[invoking]

Are you walking back home? [ Maybe they could start in that direction. It's a ways off, he knows, but a little walk won't hurt. It'll do them some good after all the food they just ate. ]

[wisecracked]

I figured I'd fly but if you want to walk that's fine. [She smiles. She didn't exactly wear shoes meant for a long walk but she'll manage.]

[invoking]

Some walking would be good after a heavy meal like that. [ And the air may be cold, but it's fresh. He should probably enjoy this as long as he can before the thick, hot summer air returns. ] Oh, do you still want Ms. Natasha's number?
