As you enter through the doors of the Danger Room, the sound of cicadas chirping clues you into your arrival to a tropical paradise. Red and orange lights show a room transformed, vines all along the walls and trees that seem to reach the beyond the ceiling. There's no doubt now, you're deep in the heart of the jungle. You can almost feel the heat of a distant volcano, the humidity wafting in from a river just outside, but that's only your imagination. Luckily, someone had the foresight to bring an exterminator into this jungle beforehand, as there isn't a bug in sight.

Fierce papier mache dinosaurs look down on your throughout the room, some perhaps planning their next meal, others regarding the intruders to their home with something not unlike fear. From the stage, the gleaming jaws of a downed Tyrannosaurus look on at the partiers, hungry even in its taxidermied stated.

But there's one ornament that stands above them all: the mirrored surface of what appears to be a pterodactyl man, reflecting the lights all across the room in ways most disco balls only wish they could.

[ she frowns at that, turning around to view the rest of the crowd there. ]

Well, I'm sure there would be plenty of others who would be happy to dance with you. You only need to give it that...inexhaustible enthusiasm of yours.

Aw heck no! I'd hate to ask around and impede on other folks dates and dances or something. A rough and tumble in this get up and I'd bite the big one before I got even a swing in!

Jake, I doubt you're going to get in a fight simply by asking someone to dance. [ unless it's his rabbit starting the fight. ] Look at everyone else not dancing, I'm sure some of them are likewise dateless and would love the opportunity to be asked by a strapping young man.

[ she doesn't mention that she and rose both came dateless, together. on the official paper. ...mostly because she and rose are the only ones likely to be fooled by it. ]

[ kanaya just frowns at him with a shrug, looking out in the same direction he is. ]

I haven't the slightest! There should be a few lacking partners if you're looking, any you see that you might like to try?

[ she points over to a short redhead in a pink dress she might secretly consider tacky. ] What about her?

The bluey? What's her name?

[ bluey? kanaya doesn't see anything blue about her. ]

Good luck. [ she folds her arms with a smile, satisfied to watch from a distance. before he gets too far, she makes sure to call out. ]

And remember to pay some attention to her interests! [ though maybe there won't be much discussion at all, if they only end up dancing. ]

((He KNOWS Kanaya said SOMETHING, so he just lifts a hand into the air and gives a thumbs up as he moves forward. WHAT she said, however, totally didn't make it's mark.

Anyway, so Jake meanders over to said redhead, a bit flummoxed by the dark lights. Finally, he feels he's made his mark, and from behind taps the "little lady" on the shoulder.))
