As you enter through the doors of the Danger Room, the sound of cicadas chirping clues you into your arrival to a tropical paradise. Red and orange lights show a room transformed, vines all along the walls and trees that seem to reach the beyond the ceiling. There's no doubt now, you're deep in the heart of the jungle. You can almost feel the heat of a distant volcano, the humidity wafting in from a river just outside, but that's only your imagination. Luckily, someone had the foresight to bring an exterminator into this jungle beforehand, as there isn't a bug in sight.

Fierce papier mache dinosaurs look down on your throughout the room, some perhaps planning their next meal, others regarding the intruders to their home with something not unlike fear. From the stage, the gleaming jaws of a downed Tyrannosaurus look on at the partiers, hungry even in its taxidermied stated.

But there's one ornament that stands above them all: the mirrored surface of what appears to be a pterodactyl man, reflecting the lights all across the room in ways most disco balls only wish they could.

Welcome to the Savage Land. Hope you survive the experience!

Have you seen the latest movie? [Wow, he's so excited. He's completely ignoring all that junk back there for her sake right now.] It's wonderful! Fantastic!

[She can't help brightening up. So much enthusiasm. ]

I have not. I don't mind spoilers, however. What am I missing?

Oh my... I don't even know where to start. You've read the books, I assume. [Who is he even kidding?] Ah, of course you have! Well, it's an absolutely wonderful adaption... I especially liked how they handled Crescent and Spencer's relationship. [He's extremely exuberant, gesturing his hands while he speaks.]

[nitidus]

[She had no idea Astral was this cute. Amazing. Truly incredible. She nods along as he speaks: 'yes' she's read the books and 'yes of course' and the mention of Crescent and Spencer. ]

Did they follow the book closely?

[soulbonder]

In my opinion? They made it even better. [Brings his arms close to his chest, giddy as fuck.] I don't really understand human romance very much, but watching them... I believed for a brief moment that I could, and that I did.

[Astral, that's adorable. How is this even possible. ]

That's actually very touching, Astral.

I don't own the DVD... But if I ever end up purchasing it, I'll be sure to let you borrow it, Rose.

[nitidus]

Thank you, Astral. I feel I may have to at some point. There is nothing that quite soothes me like the romance of fictional characters.

[soulbonder]

Really? So you must have books to suggest on that particular topic... [He's really, really curious okay! Human romance. Utterly fascinating. 100% truth.]

Yes, I have. Kanaya gave them to me, actually. There's a few, actually that I am quite fond of that are similar to Crescent. You could borrow them, if you'd like?

[soulbonder]

I would like that very much.

[nitidus]

Then I will round them up for you this week. I'll ask Kanaya for a few of hers too, at least, whenever she cools off.

[soulbonder]

Thank you. [a beat] Are you feeling better?

[She pauses, too. Then, with a small smile:] Yes, I am. Thank you, Astral.

They might have stopped fighting now.

[nitidus]

They might have. Or perhaps it has gotten worse?

[Hesitation ... but, she shouldn't hide all night. ]

Shall we go and see?

[soulbonder]

Yes. [He doesn't really know the other one Kanaya was fighting with, so it's impossible for him to assure her it couldn't get worse. But, hey, they are going to see now, right?] We shall.

[nitidus]
