SUMMARY: The 'Waves have been avoiding each other because of what happened during the Desire event. They finally talk about it. It's kinda like that one episode of A Single Potato.
FORMAT: Whatever the bossy person says.

[It's been a few days. A few days since they've actually spoken. Soundwave has been avoiding him, he knows. But. He's been doing the same thing really - as illogical as it is. He knows this has to be taken care of, and the sooner it was, the better. This could not be allowed to interfere with work. Hn. Desire. Troublesome.]

[Quietly he makes his way into Dancitron, the scientist could not say he was looking forward to this little chat.]

Hnnnn. [Emotional responses. He wants to say that he had shown no such thing, but he knows that would be an obvious lie.]

There were no significant physical responses to note.

[Carefully, he cradles the cub in his arm as he frees one hand, to reach around and lightly pinch Shockwave's back. Otherwise, he remains silent, just staring at Shockwave with an impassive look.]

[He tenses up with a shiver when Soundwave pinches his back. He'd have pushed the communications officer had he not been holding the feline. Instead he just gives him a glare, boarding along the lines of "that is not significant, it doesn't count!"]

[Drags down his nails a little against Shockwave's back.]

WELL.

[He fights back a sound, but barely. He's fully aware that his back is apparently sensitive.]

--ng s-stop that.

[Warning glare.]

[Barely is not enough with Soundwave; he hears him, and that is satisfying. He slides his hand away, almost smirking. Not quite.]

THAT IS WHAT I MEAN.

My back is merely, somewhat sensitive. That is all.

YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN WHY THAT IT IS?

It is interesting, yes. However unlike my scar, it is not so simple to figure out as to why it is sensitive.

IT WOULD NOT BE DIFFICULT.

[He pauses, considers.] YOUR SCAR?

Oh? And why is that?

[Nods.] I have a scar where my Decepticon symbol should be.

CONSIDER WHAT YOUR CYBERTRONIAN BODY WAS LIKE PRIOR TO BECOMING HUMAN.

[He tilts his head. He has been wondering.] QUERY. WHAT IS THE SCAR FROM?

Hm.

[He doesn't really have a problem with talking about this. He had already told Blitzwing, and well, he told Optimus back on Cybertron.]

Myself. I removed the symbol to prove my loyalty to Cybertron and gain the Autobots' trust.

TO CYBERTRON.

[He supposes he understands the necessary deception, but with Shockwave, it's difficult to tell where his loyalties really do lie. With logic, he expects, but that now is even shakier to him.]

The factions had to be abolished - some of the Autobots were getting wary of following a Decepticon. It was necessary. I did keep the Decepticon forces strong, underground however.

NOTED.

[Slightly less hesitant, then. It's still a bit difficult for him to absorb -- and he feels it's unlikely that Shockwave trusts him as much as he claims.]

[Perhaps not fully, it's hard to trust another Decepticon that much. However he does trust Soundwave quite a bit, about the same as he trusts Blitzwing - which is saying quite a bit - especially since the events of last week.]

That is not a problem, is it?

[He nods quietly and stands up, heading into the closed cafe. He shifts the cub in his arms again as he heads inside, setting her back down in order to fix the tea.]
