WHO:
catmasked and
lassiface
WHERE: Blue Moon Diner, downtown
WHEN: Saturday afternoon, 2pm
SUMMARY: Lassi offered to file paperwork for Selina's leopard if she took him to lunch.
FORMAT: Para
In truth, Selina didn't really give a damn if she had a license for Ramus or not. When had she ever cared much about the legality of anything she did? But it was clear the detective wasn't going to drop it. Besides, she figured he at least deserved lunch for putting a bullet in the Joker.
She arrived a few minutes after two, "fashionably" late as per usual. Leather jacket and boots to ward off the November chill, sunglasses she took off as soon as she entered the diner, scanning the familiar booths for Lassiter.

Honestly, it was mostly an excuse for lunch. If Spencer was going to throw that Ms. Marvel in his face, he needed something to throw back. (The fact she was nice to look at and relatively interesting and wasn't utterly sick of him yet had nothing to do with it either.)

"Started without me?" Selina asked as she slid easily into the booth. She sounded amused.

Pushing the document back his way, Selina offered him a smile. "I recommend the pancakes here. Best in the City."

Sparing a glance upwards at her suggestion, he quirked an eyebrow and asked almost incredulously, "Pancakes for lunch?"

A waiter passed by; Selina flagged him over. "I'll have the chocolate chip pancakes and the ice tea," she told him. She smirked at Lassiter. "Live a little dangerously, Detective."

"And here I thought you enjoyed the paperwork, Lassiter." She popped another bite of pancake in her mouth.

From her smile, she was joking. Partially, at least.

Really, some people were just so fun to tease.

She focused on cutting what remained of her pancakes into a few more bite-sized pieces, rather than thinking about Bruce.
