WHO: Wanda Maximoff and YOU (seriously, come play with me right now, yes I mean you)
WHERE: an open-air market, somewhere in The City
WHEN: at any point this afternoon
WARNINGS: none!
SUMMARY: Wanda has wandered off on her own and stumbled upon something a little more familiar.
FORMAT: quicklog, or whatever, I’m flexible
[Wanda had been reluctant to venture out of the MAC alone, but Pietro had not answered the door when she knocked, and she really should at least attempt navigation on her own, for once. Of course, having a destination in mind wouldn’t have hurt, but she was not far past the streets she had walked previously when she stumbled upon a delightful little open-air market, all squished-up between two towering brick structures.]
[With a pleased little smile playing about her features, Wanda slips into the crowd -- it is not so frightening as those on the streets were, somehow -- and proceeds to lose herself in the simple task of bargain-hunting.]

[His comment is mischievous in it's manner, matching perfectly with the look he's offering. Add that to the entirely unsubtle once over he's giving her and it's fairly obvious to judge what James is talking about.]
no subject
Is that so?
[Her lips quirk, and she proffers the pepper in her hand.]
Well, don't let me get in your way.
no subject
[He assures lightly, heading tilting as his piercing gaze never seems to waver from it's focus on her, except for a very brief flicker down to that pepper.]
Any plans for this afternoon?
no subject
Nothing set in stone, no. Why do you ask?
no subject
Perhaps you'd allow me to treat you to lunch. If you can pry yourself away from the vegetables, that is.
no subject
I suppose I could spare an hour or so.
no subject
[Which James doesn't tend to give a shit about but the women in markets like this tend to find that stuff appealing.]
How does that sound?
no subject
That sounds lovely, actually.
no subject
[But he's not dragging her off just yet. He's a gentleman, you see, patient and charming and evening checking up before he takes the lead.]
Buying anything?
no subject
No, I don't think so.

[As he speaks, James is already offering out an arm towards her, hands back in his pockets for just a little touch of casualness as he conjurs up a far too pleasant smile to go with that blue-eyed stare of his.]
no subject
Lead the way.
no subject
So, I suppose I should at least know your name...
no subject
--Oh, my manners, lately! My name is Wanda Maximoff.

[Bond has spent enough time around such surrounding countries to know a fair bit about them, including a strong understanding of the languages.]

no subject
[That is odd though. Perhaps this world has a few extra countries than he'd first thought. Or she's screwing with him. Either are likely possibilities.]
no subject
Well, it is a very small country. Or.. or perhaps it simply does not exist in every.. reality.
[It's a troubling thought, though she's not entirely sure why.]
no subject
Oh, I just need to revise a world map, that's all.
[He's reassuring to the last, playing down his intelligence in favour of making her feel more comfortable.]
no subject
I'd be happy to assist, if you like.
no subject
[That smile of his only grows in return, finally reaching a little café on the corner that's exactly as promised. He even holds the door open for her.]
no subject
You have good taste, sir.
no subject
Oh, it's nothing, just somewhere that caught my eye on the way past.
[It's all natural within the little café, all wood furniture and light colours, tidy little table settings and baskets of bread, with an overall French feel to the place. And despite the time of day, it's not even looking too busy just yet.]
Here, please, have a seat. [Her chair is pulled out in offer, of course, not as any real attempt to win him points, but just out of sheer instinct from James due to the way he was brought up.]

What're you after in this city, then?
