[Sam is standing in the main room of the mansion, dressed in his uniform with his goggles put up in his hair. He's waiting for Sally to arrive so they can leave.]

[She stops at another fork in the tunnels.]

Okay. So here is where it can get tricky. You do not want to go to the right because it's basically going to lead you right into a collapsed area, which could possibly collapse even more onto you.

[She touches the wall.]

I think that one kid team is going to try coming down here though.

We can use the code the Morlocks had. It won't be as easily decipherable to people who don't know it, so we'd have a slight advantage if the HIVE or whoever does come.

[SHE SOUNDS NERVOUS]

Probably. Ah mean they came here, then we went after 'em, so they'll probably show up again. When we least expect it, probably.

[She stares at the wall.]

[She looks down at her hands.]

[He places his hand on her shoulder.]

[She nods, and hugs him tightly, needing just to feel him for a moment.]

Yeah. I don't want any of you getting hurt or any innocent people...and I don't want them to get whatever they're after.

[He looks down at her. He knows how possible it is he'll be hurt, and that maybe even getting killed is an option. This is war.

But no one else. No one else on his team is getting hurt. Not like Xi'an, not again.]

[She just keeps hugging him.]

[He hugs her back, and kisses the top of her head. He wants to tell her that being team leader means a lot of things, and he's willing to throw himself in front of his friends, but he doesn't.]

We can finish this place up when we mark it, Sally. Do you wanna fly now?

[She nods, and pulls back a little.]

Flying sounds really good.

[She brushes his hair back.]
