SUMMARY: Wherein the Doctor and Jack spend all their money on a big old party! Sorry Ian -_-;
FORMAT: Whatever folks want! It's a free for all!

The Doctor hopped around the house making sure everything was to his satisfaction. There were streamers and balloons filling every nook and cranny and all of it was especially tacky and wonderful! Humans sure knew how to make decoration!!

The small backyard managed to fit two bounce houses (a castle and a water based bounce house), and inflatable pool entirely too small for adults, and the grills. There was the danger of someone bouncing into the pool but the Doctor saw that as more opportunity for fun! Inside there was food on every flat surface and downstairs where once the aquacat pool was now was ready for dancing! Even if no one showed the Doctor was going to have a good time!

Of course the real show started at sundown with the Doctor's own firework show helped along with human gunpowder and Time Lord know-how. Hope someone has the fire department on speed dial!

Pym was running about, exploring every inch of the going ons of the party. He'd never really celebrated the 4th of July like this. Of course he knew it was Independence Day but he was raised in a dome in the Arctic Circle.

He skidded to a stop once he came across someone who didn't look very excited to be at a party. And what was that on her shoulder?

Pym pointed at the green animal. "What's that?"

Oh, a little kid. Rapunzel was pretty sure she could deal with kids, at least. She just seemed to...get along with them very well, for some reason. She smiled at his question and crouched down, holding out her arm.

"He's a chameleon," she said, as Pascal scampered down her arm to give the boy a closer look. "His name is Pascal."

"A chameleon? Does that mean he can change color?" Pym leaned in close, lifting a finger and cautiously bringing it towards Pascal, like he was going to poke him but hesitant the reptile might try to eat his hand. "Where did you find him?"

"Yeah, of course," she patted Rapunzel on the head, and he scrunched up a bit and changed to mimic the pink of her dress. And then he faded back to green after a second.

"He found me. When I was little. He's been my friend my whole life!"

Pym's face lit up when Pascal changed colors. "Cool! I bet he makes the ultimate spy!" Pym suddenly got the mental picture of shrinking and riding the chameleon into a pretend battle. But maybe not since he didn't seem to move super fast.

"Does that mean he came with you from home? Or did you find him here and you've been here a really really long time?"

"He came with me from home, yes." She wasn't sure about the spy bit, but she was sure about that. She shook her head though.

"I've only been here a few months. What about you?"

"Me too! My brother's been here for a lot longer. Time travel is really crazy because he wasn't missing back home at all!"

Pym tentatively patted Pascal lightly on the head, curious about what his skin felt like. "So if this is Pascal, what's your name? I'm Pym!"

Pascal didn't seem to mind the pat, and felt rather like a lizard, really. Rapunzel kept her arm out, and the chameleon good-naturedly let himself get stared at.

"It's nice to meet you, Pym! I'm Rapunzel."

"Why are you standing all the way over here by yourself?" he asked, tilting his head to the side a little.

Rapunzel shrugged, not really sure what her answer was. She looked over at the crowd for a moment, then back, and smiled faintly.

"I'm just a little skittish around people right now, I think."

"Is it because you don't really know anyone yet...? If you want to make more friends, you've got to go to meet people!" he insisted.
