Bar Log ((OPEN))
WHO: Tom Bronson + OPEN
WHERE: the bar
WHEN: all week
WARNINGS: none
SUMMARY: Tom now owns the bar, and everyone gets their first drink free for the first week.
FORMAT: quick
[It was Tom's first couple weeks running the bar, and, surprisingly, it had gone pretty well so far. The transition itself was a bit of a challenge, but once he'd become accustomed to it, it really wasn't so bad at all. In fact, he found himself even enjoying the work, even if it meant extra hours for the time being, since the promotion and port-outs lately meant that they were running a bit understaffed.
That wasn't why he was pulling other duties besides just managing the place, though. Working behind the bard was one of the best jobs he had, and he really enjoyed it. He got to talk to people at the bar (and occasionally have a drink or two himself). It was the social aspect that he liked, which was why, to maybe draw in a few new regular customers, he was offering free drinks for the week.]

[Ggio thinks that explains enough. He looks away, apparently dismissive. He told Tom he would be civil - which apparently means no biting - but he never said anything about being nice. While he doesn't move, the atmosphere suddenly feels a touch more hostile, like the gravity increased. It's the pressure from Ggio's spiritual powers.]

[Curtis sighs once again, not quite sure what else to say. He pauses at the sudden hostility in the air, rolling his shoulder a little. Frowning, the blond looks to Ggio again.]
Look...Tom wants me and you to get along, okay? So can we start over? Trying to make a peace offering.

Look, asshole, I'm not stupid, and you've insulted me once before, so whatever you're doing is not gonna work. Just because you know him doesn't mean I have to like you. I said I wouldn't bite - that doesn't mean I won't rip you to shreds.
[He sighs, shrugs, and switches back to English.]
Okay.

Alright then. Since we're starting over...I'm Curtis. Good to meet you in person.

It's one of his jobs, yeah. But he's not always back here. I work for him, y'know? I'm one of the people that does the job with him.

[Continuing with the frowny fussypants routine-]
So now you serve him. That doesn't mean we can be friends.
