SUMMARY: Ned invites the whole City to the Pie Hole. He and Zatanna are cooking and baking everything (there are meat and meatless options), but feel free to bring a favorite from home!

[From the outside, the Pie Hole hasn't changed much, though the window is draped in elaborate snowflake-shaped lights, but inside is a whole other story. Zatanna has made quite a spectacle of the place, a huge banquet hall filled with long and short tables for enjoying your meal with any number of friends. And the decorations are outrageous. Ned's Christmas decorations, which were already over-the-top have all been magically enhanced and Thanksgivingsized like little crystalline pumpkin baubles and overspilling cornucopia on each buffet table, lined up in front of the kitchen. Ned is firmly putting his foot down this year: no one is to enter his kitchen but Zee or himself.

He'll be serving regular pie menu as well as breakfast (frittatas) until twelve noon at which point there will be an hour or two for people to arrive and mingle. The food will be out by 1:30-2 pm and dessert to be served at 3 pm. Ned just wants everyone to have a great day so come in and make yourself at home!! There are a few kegs as well if you all didn't listen and byob...]

[ He caught Larsa, flashing him an understanding smile. The poor kid looked stuffed, so he walked over to clap a hand on his shoulder. ]

(he blinked heavily, almost falling asleep when he was jolted heavily awake by Mitchell. he can't help but smile, happy that he showed up even though he was late (a mood swing, obviously he can't hide his true feelings).)

I have never feasted as heartily as I have today.

[ Mitch almost makes a crack about the phrasing, but he just doesn't have the heart to do it. He can't make fun of Larsa that much. It's just a bit cruel. ]

Oh yeah? So I guess the spread's good. How's the fucking pie?

Mr. Ned is absolutely amazing at his craft. (his belly is so round right now.)

Alright, alright, I won't grill you. [ He laughs a little, patting him on the shoulder in that weird way that older men do to their protegés.

Larsa. Be afraid. ]

(he sort of gives him a happy, lazy smile before pulling himself up on the chair so that he can nap happily with the others.)

[ Except, you know, he's going to fake at eating and only take a bit.

My favorite brew? [ It takes him a moment. He looks confounded, and then it hits.

And his eyebrows quirk a bit, and there might be a tug to his lips that may be a smile. ]

Of course. I had to steal some from City Hall, but I felt that you might want some with your pie.

(he hums contently, acting quite smug that he knows Mitchell somewhat:) Should you not fake eating.

Who said anything about faking, huh? I was going to eat something.

[ It may not be a lot, and Mitch may not often get a ton, but he does eat. He really isn't a robot, even if he pretends to be one on occasion. ]

As long as there's fucking coffee.

I'm pretty sure she'd say it's photoshopped whether I'm eating or not.

[ He's looking over the room, before his head swings to give Larsa a look that can only be described as surprised. ]

(larsa frowns slightly; why do people seem to think that he has no sense of humor?)

[ He gives him a little smile. Come on, everyone makes fun of him for being a robot, they can make fun of Larsa for having no sense of humor, right? ]

Well, so would I. Beneath the crusty exterior, she actually works really hard.

[ He tips his head a little, only slightly indicating her direction. ]

Well, a little hard. When she wants to, but when she does it, she does good work.

I would not even call her exterior crusty. April, despite her best efforts to hide it, is actually quite... sweet.

(but it might be an indication of the people he's grown up around.)

Though, she musn't know this.
