WHO: I'll get back to you on that.
WHERE: Outside the City, at Diana and Zee's place.
WHEN: 3 PM on Sunday, May 20th.
WARNINGS: I'll get back to you on this, also.
SUMMARY: See this post.
FORMAT: Respond however you want.
It shouldn't come as a shock to anyone that Zatanna's house is even bigger on the inside than it appears from the curb. It also shouldn't come as a shock that the backyard is the same; while it's normally rather large, she's put forth a great deal of energy into making it big enough to hold a waterpark. It also isn't visible from the front yard or around the privacy gate. If someone were to take an aerial photo, all they'd see is a moderate-sized empty yard full of shrubbery and a patio set. There's obviously no reason Mitch shouldn't attend in a speedo, right?
There are tables of snacks and drinks, some of which are alcoholic -- but don't worry, if anyone under 21 grabs one, it turns into ginger ale. As boasted in her text, there is, in fact, cake. Two different kinds (neither with nuts just in case someone has allergies), one vanilla and covered in strawberries and the other a fancy-looking, layered chocolate. Both were bought from a little hole-in-the-wall bakery several blocks from her home that she and Larsa have been frequenting.
Though it is her birthday, Zatanna is playing gracious hostess, while wearing a very fitting swimsuit and occasionally toting around a cat or two.
This is sort of open. Feel free to tag in with whatever. c:

And here he is now, looking awkward and uncomfortable of all this... flesh. Exposed flesh. Not just anyone's, but women. Women sometimes wore dresses down till their ankles back home. This felt like too much.
He turns to avoid staring for too long, nearly bumping into Molly. ]

This is brilliant! [He's beaming as he approaches Zatanna for a greeting/birthday hug.] It's amazing you have this all back here! I can't believe it! [He can't help laughing like an astounded child at a magic show.]
whoops turned off notifs :/
She spots him before he spots her and weaves through a giant crowd of three people chatting to greet him. It's a little difficult to not bristle and respond shyly or with a squealing voice. Somehow, she keeps the act up and just gives him a squeeze.] I must confess that I cheated with magic, but I'm glad you like it!

all you'd need is a glowy space-sword forged by a mutant, Juraikan frog and you'd be spot on for a long-lost Zegram relative.
at least, that's what Steve thinks when he sees him from a distance. fascinating!]

of course, he failed to really press on the details of the party's theme, hardly giving "pool" a second glance as he hurried his way over. it doesn't bother him, either; he is quite content to smile at everyone and admire the scene around him.
he's also really charmed by these twisty, curly straws in the drinks. how whimsical!]

She approaches from the side, leaning forward so she's in his line of vision before speaking.] I'm glad you came! I was a little worried that the location might make people avoid it, since it's a bit of a trek.

Lord, I can't remember the last time I got to lounge by a pool.
[He dips his toes in the water, sunglasses protecting his sensitive eyes from the bright light. He applied sunscreen before leaving his flat, but can already feel his sensitive skin stinging. Damn, but he does badly in direct sun.]

Perhaps she'd find a soul willing to explain if she walked amongst the crowd... though she'd really like to finish her cake (vanilla) and drink (ginger ale, transformed, though she didn't mind much).
IDK if people are tracking it? Plurk about it. o7
She'd just come from doing that, though her feet were already near-dry when she gets to Luna. "Hey," a warm inviting grin, "Long time, no see."
