[Kenzi's morning started off kind of shitty but she had no one to blame but herself. She drank waaaaaay too much the night before and was paying with it come early afternoon with a massive hang over. So she spent the first few hours trying to deal with that.

Eventually she felt well enough to get dressed and go out but what was she going to do while out? Other than get some delicious greasy food in her stomach, of course.

While she ate she though about what to do and eventually she decided she hadn't bugged Gil in a while. Once she was done with her meal she made her way to his place, it was too cold to just fly up to his window and wait so surprisingly she's at the door. Banging on it. If Gil doesn't answer quickly enough she'll start yelling as well.]

Adults can have fun too. Why the hell do you think there's things like night clubs and amusement parks? Which by the way, most of those rides are made for adults.

[ He just has his salad and will be taking a bite out of that. But it's delicious Greek salad, okay. ]

What do you find fun? And if you say something like reading a book I'm going to drag your sorry ass to a club or something one day.

Baking is nice... and I guess the movies.

You can bake? [She straightens up a bit.]

Dude, why didn't you say so. [Now she knows who she can con into baking her something.] But is that it? Baking and movies? That's still pretty boring.

Is it that surprising? I live by myself. [ So he has to be able to cook and bake for himself. ]

I traveled not too long ago. [ Not that it's a hobby... ] Zatanna sent me to Montana for a few hours.

Yeah but you can buy that stuff premade. Plus baking is like, harder than regular cooking.

[She gives him a flat look.] Traveling is also an old people thing.

Ingredients are cheaper and it's not that hard.

[ His fork fumbles between his fingers. ]

Partying, clubbing, dating, being sociable. Dancing too. Not just club dancing.

Just anything thrilling is fun.

Parties... [ He shakes his head. ] They're not really interesting to me.

Besides, the parties back home were always for high society. [ Meaning they were actually rather boring. Lots of gossiping, political talk, and looking for suitors. ]

I calls 'em like I sees 'em. [Grinning.]

There's still hoity-toity parties of that kind. I think that's something that'll never change. But the parties I like are so much more fun than those. [Mostly because she can find some rich guy to schmooze with.]

You mean the ones in the bars and clubs here. [ Not fond of those either. Too loud and too much alcohol everywhere. Only the smell of cigarettes don't bother him. ]

Well that's one place where there's always a party. The ones I mean though are the ones that not everyone knows about. The invite only parties.

[Which often do have some loud music and lots of alcohol as well.]

Do you not get tired or headaches from places like that? Going all the time...

[ He continues eating his salad, most of the plate cleared already. ]

Only headaches I deal with are ones from hangovers. And I don't go as often as I'd like.

[Not like back home where she could hit up the club practically every night. Nope here she's gotta be a responsible adult. Which she really doesn't like.]
