[Well that was embarrassing! Kenzi had, for a moment, forgot where she was and thought she was calling Bo. Instead she got Gil, talk about rude wake up to reality. She hung up quickly because she didn't want to explain she called because she thought she was calling Bo. God, she missed her best friend. Admitting it to people just made it hurt more.

At least that's over now, right? She won't have to explain anything.

She flops down on the couch with some chips and starts flipping through the channels. She just wants to find something boring to watch and fall asleep now.]

He was being weird. Said he suddenly felt attracted to me which wasn't so much the problem I guess it's just... Well, probably best I don't say as you'll get all flustered.

[ As he reaches to close the communicator, he jumps. ]

Your roommate's in love with you?!

I guess? [She squints at him and shrugs.]

He said he hadn't felt that way before, seemed kinda sudden y'know. It was probably just something the City did to him.

[ How can she be so blasé about this?! ]

Are you sure? Do you mean the Porter? If he's been living with you, he may... [ Have feelings? Why else would he have asked her to move in together? ]

[Because he doesn't have parts, man!]

Cupid is this little baby looking fairy thing with angel wings. Wears a diaper and everything. He carries a bow and arrows and when he shoots someone with the arrows they fall in love with someone else.

At least that's the cupid everyone that doesn't know the Fae knows.

Yeah, that's what most humans think a cupid is. [It is...it's so stupid.]

But point is, if it wasn't the 'Porter maybe someone in the City has a power like that? Because there's just no way Piccolo would be attracted to me enough to act like he was. He's not like human men.

How was he acting before it started?

Like himself. Before the holiday he was keeping himself locked up but he does that from time to time. Spends all his time meditating or something.

Maybe magic again?

[She shrugs.] Doesn't matter now. Pretty sure he's back to normal just embarrassed.

[There's a little grin because it was entertaining to her, at least. Confusing, but entertaining.]

You're not going to look for him? [ Well, when she's completely sobered up. ]

I wouldn't even know where to start. I don't know where he likes to frequent and he's not really a big fan of city life. He prefers to leave and go out into the wilderness. [And like hell she's going out there.]

Your roommate sounds... a bit strange. [ He means no offense, though... ]

I know! But he's an alien so I guess that's expected? [She shrugs. She likes Piccolo, he's great for sparring with and living with him is almost like living alone. Not that she likes living alone but at least she never has to worry about the things she would when living with a normal roommate.]

I guess you could always try to contact him through the communicator. [ He leans back in the chair once more. ]

I'll give him a couple more days. He might have gone off into the mountains again. [She figures when Piccolo wants to talk to her he will.]

I hope he'll be alright, then. [ He might have been embarrassed if he had been acting out of character. ] What else happened that day?

Like I said, he can take care of himself.

He left then Kang came over and we watched stupid movies.

[She falls silent before looking over at Gil with a slight grin.] What would you do if someone you knew told you they were attracted to you?

[ And his face flushes a deep red. ]

It doesn't work like that in my world. I mean, it's different sometimes!

[He's so cute when he starts to get flustered. Which is why Kenzi pokes at him so much.]

What do you mean? What? Does no one ever tell anyone they really like someone?

I guess so. I wouldn't really know... [ Ada had confessed to Oscar and Oz she loved someone. Women at parties made it obvious they were fawning over him and Vincent. ] In high society, they pick the best suitors. Whoever has enough wealth or an important name and status.

For some people that hasn't changed. [Kenzi laughs. She told Piccolo that she'd just go for some wealthy bastard unless she found someone she really liked.]

But you still didn't answer my questions about what'd you do.
