[ Felicia usually dresses not to grab attention -- too much, anyway -- but at night it feels more appropriate to dress up slightly; she sits at the bar in a black and white striped dress with a black coat, buffing her nails idly with a file as she waits for Kate.

It's been a while since they've really ever done anything, or spent time alone together. Felicia meant it when she said she was starting to feel crazy, not getting out much. ]

I'll keep my eyes open. Or you could always try catching them over there.

[ As long as it wasn't England or any other imBargoed country, of course. ]

A real vacation would do everyone some good.

[ Her smile falters for a split second. The issue lies with money. ]

I can't make up my mind on where I'd want to go. [ Not really a lie. ]

I've always wanted to visit France. I've heard it's nice.

[ She brushes her hair over her shoulders, moving closer to Kate again as the other people continue to crowd. ]

Maybe Italy, for the wine.

I think I'm worried about leaving Nill alone. [ Although, wasn't that the point of getting Schnitzel? ]

Can't you get a babysitter?

[ She raises her eyebrows. ]

Or bring her along?

[gevurah]

[ She attempts a shrug, but it's a tad difficult when your entire body is moving to the rhythm of the music so it ends up a weird sort of gesture. ]

It's a long story. For another time. [ Damian's gone and he was important to Nill. She probably doesn't want to be alone this summer. ]

[ Felicia can take the hint; she tilts her head, shrugging a little herself. ]

Right. Another time. Tonight we relax.

[ She takes Kate's arm, spinning closer. ]

[gevurah]

[ She lightly pulls Felicia closer, matching Felicia's rhythm now. ]

And we deserve this. Seriously.

[ She doesn't doubt they'll be shuffled off to another world sometime soon. ]

[ Now that they're essentially dancing "together", some of the other dancers give them a little more space (though not much). ]

We always do. Especially now, though. Since it's been a while.

[gevurah]

I'll have to take Hel dancing again sometime soon. [ To make it up to her, but she figure she wants some time alone after Damian. ] What'd you think of her, by the way?

[ Because she's happy to be in a stable relationship again. ]

She meets my approval, if that's what you mean.

[ Felicia smiles, nodding her head and shrugging one shoulder easily. ]

Don't have much to go off, but it doesn't always take much.

[gevurah]

[ Not that Kate would have had it any other way. ]

Maybe for the summer we have something like a ladies night out -- vacationing style.

[ Nill's not that young anymore and traveling with her was fun last year. Maybe they could all go to Italy or someplace together to get away for a bit. ]

You know I'd be there.

[ She smiles easily, tossing her hair back again. ]

I think it's more practical to vacation in groups. Financially. [ She pauses. ] Not that I'm hurting for it, but it doesn't hurt.

[gevurah]

Safety in numbers, et cetera. [ She says half jokingly. ]

Supposedly.

Not that it can hurt.

[gevurah]

[ She can feel herself getting a little warmer on the floor. She pushes back her hair, enjoying a very faint wind against her bare neck. ]

I like this idea. I think we ought to see if anyone else would be up for it.

Should we invite the spouses?

[ Felicia spins, changing directions every few turns. She's not moving fast enough to get dizzy, but her hair does fan out behind her. ]

Or is that over-complicating things?

[gevurah]

[ OH.

A split-second pause and Kate is off balance -- just in that fleeting moment.

A vacation with Edward Nygma. ]

I was thinking more along the lines of the female persuasion. [ She adores Felicia, but she can't say the same for Eddie, unfortunately. ]

[ Felicia laughs a little -- she knows that Eddie isn't necessarily the favorite person among her friend-circle, but it was worth asking. If Kate brings along Helena, though... ]

Maybe if we each brought along another friend as our "plus one."

[gevurah]

[ And then she feels bad.

She'll have to think about this more. ]

Well, it's an idea, right? We can discuss it another day when we'll be sober.

Probably a better plan.

A good idea, though. I've been getting restless lately.

[gevurah]

Then -- [ she extends her hand to Felicia just to twirl her a little ] -- we dance out all the restlessness and try not to fall asleep on rooftops after.

We can sleep on the rooftops and just hope it doesn't rain.

[ Felicia takes Kate's hand twirls closer, so their shoulders press against each other briefly. ]

[ She keeps her eyes on Felicia, smirking a little to herself. ]

We should have brought blankets.

Or a tent.

I'm sure we could find at least one of those things if we put our mind to it. Blankets can't be that hard to come by.

[ She spins again, slowly, to Kate's other side. ]
