[Kenzi has spent the week beforehand getting everything ready for Sunday. So by the time the day rolls around the kitchen counters are laden with various party foods. Bowls of chips and dip, a vegetable plate for anyone that wants something healthy, cookies...just the usual stuff. As far as drinks go Kenzi has a big ice chest waiting for any drinks anyone brings. She's provided some beers and sodas, there's also some bottled water and juice in there. Anything else is up to those coming.

All the hard stuff has been hidden as Kenzi doesn't plan on sharing. But there are some jello shots that might have just a bit too much vodka in them in the fridge.

Kenzi takes one last look over everything to make sure it's all ready before flopping down on the couch to wait. She didn't give a specific time for people to drop by, which now that she thinks about it she probably should have. Oh well. For now she'll just wait.]

[ That was a close game, wasn't it? Gil finally realizes it wasn't so bad after all. The half-time show was confusing at first because he had no idea they brought famous performers during a game. No wonder Kenzi threw this party-- this Superbowl is certainly a big deal in this country.

(Also, he may feel strangely glad the Ravens won.)

With all that over, he's wondering what he should do. Probably help clean up? He starts reaching over to collect plates, cups and bowls wherever they can be found. ]

[Sofia comes over to give him a hand. She doesn't feel like leaving Kenzi with all the clearing up.]

[Kenzi's out some cash (because she wasn't just doing the betting here at her party but with some other people in the workplace) so she's not too happy with the outcome of the game. So she's in the kitchen grumbling to herself as she downs a couple of jello shots. Sure she'd promised Gil she wouldn't drink too much while he was there but she feels it's warranted.

She isn't even too worried about clean up just yet.]

You guys don't have to clean up.

Oh, you're-- [ He recognizes Sofia from the bus incident. But he'd been so out of it he had barely responded to her. He's surprised to see her here. ] The game? It was alright.

[ He looks over at Kenzi. ]

It would be faster if everyone started to clean.

[Yes that had been rather a weird time.] Sofia. THe game could have been worse.

[She smiles at Kenzi.]

Cleaning up after a party is the best time to take advantage of friends offering to help.

It was my first time watching this sport, honestly.

[ To Kenzi: ] We did make the dishes and mess. [ It only feels right to clean it up. ]

Any good hostess doesn't make her guest clean. But if you guys wanna, knock yourselves out. [In other words, Kenzi is totally fine with other people doing the cleanup for her. She always hated that part of parties but man, does she ever love throwing parties.

For the time being she's not moving from near the tray of jello shots. In fact, she's going for another.]

You're just going to make everyone do all the work?! [ IS THAT WHAT THIS WAS ABOUT... ]

Not going to make anyone do anything. But if you want to I won't stop you. [There's a quick grin before she downs that jello shot.]

You can't just leave it as is... or expect everyone else to clean up due to guilt.

Yeah but I don't have to clean it up right now. [Haven't you ever heard of procrastination, Gil?]

It'll leave a smell overnight, though.

[wisecracked]

Didn't say I was going to leave it over night, geez. [Although she totally would if not for the fact she lives with Piccolo.]

Alright. [ He raises his hands. ] You said you had a roommate, didn't you?

[ Gil isn't sure if he's seen that person tonight. ]

[Kenzi is winner. She downs another jello shot and wonders why she even made so many...oh right.]

Yeah. He doesn't really like crowds though. [And he may or may not still be in the mountains or something. She doesn't keep up with him really.]

[ He just watches, having not touched the jello at all. What is it. ]

He doesn't mind that we're here, though?

[Probably best Gil doesn't touch it. She put way too much vodka in it.]

Naw. Just as long as I don't destroy the apartment he's cool with it.

We're not going to wreck it. [ Well, Gil wouldn't. He knows the pain of wrecked apartments. ]

[There's three TK users under one roof. Things could have been very messy.]

Never plan to. After all I gotta live here too.

When did you move in here? [ It's not a bad place, he decides as he looks around momentarily. ]

[Kenzi lets out a thoughtful hum, pursing her lips.]

Uh...back in November I think?

It's nice. [ He says quietly. ]

Thanks. Probably the nicest places I've ever lived in.
