WHO: Kenzi and Gilbo
WHERE: Around
WHEN: 1/1; Late Afternoon?
WARNINGS: It's Kenzi and Gil, what could possibly happen? Probably some language.
SUMMARY: Kenzi's bored and going to drag Gil out to do things. He has no say in the matter. B[
FORMAT: Quickthings
[Kenzi's morning started off kind of shitty but she had no one to blame but herself. She drank waaaaaay too much the night before and was paying with it come early afternoon with a massive hang over. So she spent the first few hours trying to deal with that.
Eventually she felt well enough to get dressed and go out but what was she going to do while out? Other than get some delicious greasy food in her stomach, of course.
While she ate she though about what to do and eventually she decided she hadn't bugged Gil in a while. Once she was done with her meal she made her way to his place, it was too cold to just fly up to his window and wait so surprisingly she's at the door. Banging on it. If Gil doesn't answer quickly enough she'll start yelling as well.]

He feels so weird in this small and low chair, probably because his legs are so long. He looks around and sees more people entering from below. Wow, they got here just in time. ]
This must be a popular movie if these many people are coming...
no subject
[Kenzi watches the people entering as well before shrugging.]
It's fairly new so of course it's popular.

Trying not to think of other things is hard, though. The silence grows awkward, only the murmurings of the others entering the theater puncturing it every few seconds. ]
no subject
Awkward silence? With Kenzi around? Maybe the awkward part but silence not so much.]
Okay, question. Have you ever, like, tried courting - that's the term you use right - someone? You always talk about your master so it got me curious. I mean...you're like what? Thirty?
[Plenty of awkward.]

[ Even in the dimly lit theater, the blood rushing to his cheeks is clear for all to see. ]
And I'm twenty-five!
no subject
Just curious, dude. And really?
no subject
Insert long-winded self-analysis on how he's really not like Oscar. (Cries.) ]
Courting is... [ He practically mumbles so no one else can hear their conversation. He looks away from Kenzi. ]
I've received... many proposals. But I couldn't accept any.
no subject
After gulping down some Coke and recovering she stares at him with wide eyes.]
Dude? Why? I mean unless you ain't into da ladies...or they were fugly.
no subject
What? That's not it at all! I like women just fine! [ He's ready to sink into his chair and not come out at all after that little outburst. ] I don't really... understand them.
And I'm merely a servant. Marriage is... it's beyond someone like me.

[She gently pats his knee before settling back in her seat.]
I think you're just using it as an excuse.

Forget, the movie's going to start soon.
timeskip eventually? i saw the movie, too!
He needs to be by Oz's side and if that means marriage is out of the question, then so be it. Oz comes first. He always has. ]

She stretches with an over-dramatic groan after the movie ends.]

He actually enjoyed it, though. Something about Jean Valjean's character made him think about himself. Would he be able to let go of his own demons someday? ]
That was pretty good, actually.
no subject
Eh. [She shrugs then rises to her feet.]

Why did you pick this one, then...?
no subject
But you enjoyed it right?
no subject
What sort of stories do you prefer?
I did.

[She starts to head to the stairs.] You hungry?
